We were greeted by the owner, Thomas, who made us very welcome - glass of chilled white wine as he talked us through the hotel and what it has to offer. Thomas is great fun and very entertaining and accommodating. We were given the furthest camp away from the lodge which gave us extra privacy and away from the noises...

Sadly, I can only write a review on behalf of my husband since I was ill for most of the 2 days spent at the Hoodia. Nothing to do with the Hoodia! We were met by the owner when we arrived rather late because we struggled to find the Lodge but when we did we were pleasantly surprised. The owner...

Warm welcome from the host of this attractive lodge. It was very hot and humid while we were there, so the pool was a welcome relief and the veranda was a great spot for a sundowner. We'd intended driving to Sossusvlei ourselves, but the lodge's day trip sounded great so we set off at 6am with 2 guides and another...

We were very impressed by how beautifully this Lodge had been designed. Lovely rooms, but the main Lodge was especially beautiful. Sadly, I can't recall the name of the guide who took us to Sossusvlei but he was terrific - friendly and FULL of wonderful information. Hats off!

I took a group to Hoodia in january for celebrating the last 3 days of a Namibia / Botswana selfdriving tour. The idea was to settle down a bit and to relax. It was a good choice. Hoodia has a very convinient size of 11 chalets so everything stays small, privat and personal. While staying there you will be welcomed...

We stayed here in September for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms are really spacious with comfortable beds, a good size bathroom with walk in shower and toilet cubicle, but also and outside shower with views of the mountains. We were in room 12, so a bit of a walk to the main building for breakfast or...

My wife, son and I spent two nights here and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. The accomodation, location, service and especially the food were all FANTASTIC! If you're going to Sossusvlei, this is definitely the place to stay. The only thing that could have been better was their WiFi. It is only available in the lobby and is pretty slow.

A delightful desert camp in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The camp is within a short drive (20 minutes) of Sesriem and about 40 minutes from Soltaire. The room was perfect for the location and the main area, food and staff were all fantastic. The trip to Sossusvlei wonderful, the climb to the top of the Big Papa was...

Excellent lodge. Very warm welcoming, extremely nice and attentionate staff and very great guide (Enos) . Gourmet cuisine in the middle of the desert. Amazing ! We highly recommend to stay in this wonderful family owned lodge very close from the gorgeous and famous Sosussvlei dunes. Hope to come back one day. Sophie G. France

Really enjoyed 3 nights stay at Hoodia, which gave us a chance to enjoy not only the local activities and dunes but some time to take in the tranquility of Hoodias location. The food at Hoodia was very good and the staff really feeling like a fun family always keen to hear about your day when they welcomed you back....
