Super recommend. Great location (well close to the beaches and main street), the staff service was amazing, very tasty breakfast and everything fresh. We stayed in a room for 3 people super comfortable. Very good shower.

I felt at home, pampered. The service, from the owners, was wonderful and warm. Very careful. We had an incident with an alarm going off at night, which was not really within the inn's responsibility, but the owners promptly went to find a solution. I'll be back for sure.

Great central location with quiet rooms, each having hot water, a balcony with hammocks. Delicious breakfast. The owner is really helpful and nice, he speaks english fluently. Godd value for money. Highly recommended!

Pros: Good location, close to the main tourist street and for those who are not lazy, you can walk to some beaches. Quiet street, without much movement of vehicles and people. Rooms with good space, very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast is very poor, without variety, it seems that they save as much as possible on it. On the first day I went to drink the yogurt, think of a horrible thing, it tasted like vomit, they bought the shittiest of the shittiest things they had on the market. One of the reasons I stayed there was the hot tub, to play with my son after we got home from the beach, but it was disabled covered with a tarp throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the TV in the room only had 3 channels and the image was very bad. On the last day the TV control broke out of nowhere, so I couldn't even use it because it didn't have any type of button.

I don't know who is responsible for the inn. However, I would like to formalize a complaint regarding the service provided at your Inn. In contact with you, yesterday there was room availability. I indicated that I would like to make the reservation and they asked me to get in touch this morning. I got in touch this morning at 8am, and was told there was no longer availability.
Total lack of commitment to the customer.

We came to Vila dos Passaros early in the morning, very tired after taking the night bus from Salvador. We were greeted by the poussadas owner and offered breakfast. They speak english really well, and were helpfull and nice - even when one of our friends got a serious food poisoning, the owner brought tee and gave us tips of how to get her better, and said we could stay longer if she didnt get better.
The rooms were big and clean, with a little balcony and a hamock - one of the nicest rooms and location we have experienced during our travells in Brazil. its not in the main street, but close by, so its calm when you wanna sleep, but a short walk to the pub or beaches.

Vila dos Passaros is a very friendly place, since the moment I called and made reservations I felt the warmth . Fernando ,the owner, helped me getting there from Ilheus, on the way I told him what I expected from the place that I heard before from friends. I must say ,it was beyond my expectations.
The room was cozy , very clean and big. The hotel is located in a walking distance from the beach ,main street where all the restaurants and shops are, not all of them were open, because June is not the high season, so I enjoyed cooking with Denise (the owner) and Fernando. We had dinner together, great wine, talk through the night, I felt at home.
Breakfast is a treat! Before going to the beach I enjoyed a typical Brazilian breakfast. Fruits, Denise's home made cakes, fresh bread, the famous brazilian black coffee, everything served on Fernando's mosaic tables, yes he is also an artist!
My way back to Ilheus I made with Denise, she had some work to do there, forgot to mention she is a great lawyer too.
Than you for a remarkable vacation, I'm already planning my next trip to Brazil, and of course Itacare, Vila dos Passaros.
