Nestled on Praia de Conchas, Aldeia do Mar Hotel garners praise for its stellar location, offering guests the best of nature and easy access to the tourist hub. The hotel's atmosphere is frequently commended for its cleanliness and organization, creating a comfortable oasis with an exemplary restaurant. While the rooms are spacious and generally well-received, some guests noted privacy concerns and cleanliness could be improved. Despite the well-kept gardens and a satisfactory array of amenities, including a pool and beach access, the value for money has been questioned due to unexpected charges. The service shines with its professionalism and friendliness, yet a few travelers have pointed out occasional lapses in responsiveness.

The staff are very kind.

We booked a room for 3 people and the sofa bed (for the third person) was not made up when we arrived (no sheets and pillows). There were only 2 bath towels, 2 face towels, 2 bowls and 2 glasses (all these items should have been 3 in number). We informed reception and they promptly rectified the situation.

The restaurant is good, the staff are kind, but the prices are very expensive.

Breakfast: couscous wasn't soft, I gave up eating it. For the hotel level, we expected a better breakfast, with more variety of fruits and juices.

One of the employees at the pool bar, a young man, was not friendly when serving, but the other employee was the opposite, smiling and very friendly when serving guests (just a criticism to improve).

The hotel area is very beautiful, well cared for, beautiful landscaping, hammocks in the trees, kiosks with sofas in front of the sea, as well as tables with wooden umbrellas and service from the hotel's restaurant on the beach. The rooms are also very good, spacious and clean.

Wonderful experience! Very comfortable and clean rooms, delicious food, fantastic service! The beach in front of the hotel is very quiet and the access to the villa is very very close! Attention to the details, with cold water at the reception and the best cocoa roska (served in the cocoa itself)

Positive points:
Friendly and helpful staff highlighted DĂ©bora in the pool bar
Restaurant offers quality food for a fair price
the location really foot in the sand spacious rooms
very well gardened hotel area with very green coconut trees and water mirrors
Daily with fair price
Good breakfast

Negative points:

The pool does not have a metal staircase for access and exit
necessary to place a stainless steel run on the existing stairs for support at the entrance and exit of the pool
Should there be a pool for children
the pool is not illuminated internally
The bathroom box has no safety bar
missing cabins to hang towels closer to the shower box
the toilet space has no ventilation
swimming pool towels : excessive strict control of the same , causing unnecessary wear with the guest ; only offer one towel per guest per day if you go to the beach and wet the towel and then want to go to the pool they only offer another towel charging an extra charge ( an absurdity in a hotel of this level )
There is no direct access between the pool and the beach you are required to pass inside the restaurant!

Hotel is excellent, has a restaurant that is great too.
We were very well looked after.
When necessary, the maintenance staff responded very quickly and resolved the problem within a few minutes.

Suggestions for further improvement.
1 You need to remember that cleaning the room must also include cleaning under the bed.
2 Change pillows that have already given what they needed to do.
3 Install lighting and be careful on the stairs leading to the pool as people get out wet and can slip. At night it is impossible to see the steps of the stairs which, despite being short, can be dangerous if a person trips there.

But anyway the hotel is excellent. I recommend.
We stayed in a bungalow.

When I booked the Hotel Aldeia do Mar, in Itacaré, I did so because I liked its facilities, its location on the sandy edge of Praia de Conchas, next to a privileged area of the city, next to its tourist center (it is easy to walk). But I must admit that I was very positively surprised by the details that make this hotel an excellent choice in Itacaré. Exuberant landscape, with well-careful gardens, which cover the blocks of four apartments each (two on top and two on the bottom). There is a small stream that cuts the gardens, which is transposed by two graceful wooden bridges, from where you are enchanted with more than a dozen small crabs (some not so small) entering and leaving their rocks. The apartment I occupied was very comfortable and spacious, with a good size Smart flat-screen TV. Everything seems new. The staff are very attentive. The pool was with the water very clean, and its surroundings very well taken care of. With wet bar and all. The restaurant, located a few meters from the sand, is in a large and airy building, with rustic design, typical for the region. The food is of very good quality. Next to the sand, there are tables, chairs and loungers. There are also comfortable gazebos, which add a lot of comfort to the guests. That is, it's just ordering drinks and snacks between an entrance and a water exit.

I combined and informed myself before with the employees to go to the guesthouse to work using the common area, paying for the coffee (even they had passed me a value of the coffee, and the day they charged me more expensive). The day I went to work only the part of the manha, the manager arrived and made a super embarrassing scene at the table, charging a fee of 100 reais per person for the use of the socket only.
I understand there are fees in establishments, but in this case the team mistakenly passed wrong information and the manager.... was extremely unelegant, speaking out loud, while we had already paid the coffee fee to be there.. finally, unfortunate, education really changes everything!

Unfortunately I didn't like the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel was not good for swimming as the water was very dirty and there was an accumulation of seaweed on the sand that could be removed as it was in front of the hotel and it was standing on the sand...this already disappointed me a lot . I was in the hotel pool and a frog appeared to me, in the hotel corridors there were also frogs... I'm terrified. If it had been in the hotel description that I could find animals there I would never have gone. Of the staff, only 2 young men at reception and a gardener were very friendly, while the rest barely said good morning, not even at breakfast. And to top it all off, when I left, I went to check the consumption, they came with an extra fee for the employees... I found it ridiculous, to say the least, because the price of the hotel was not cheap at all and the fee charged to me was abusive even though I was not obliged to pay. It was quite embarrassing...because it's one thing to tip an employee and it's another thing entirely to charge a fee of almost 400 reais...it was the first hotel that came with this extra charge for employees. Employees are the responsibility of the company and not the guests. So, unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was not what I expected. I was very disappointed.

Good, clean hotel. Large and comfortable room. Leaves something to be desired in terms of service. There are no sun loungers to accommodate all guests on the beach, only 6 units and it's embarrassing to have to wait for someone to leave so we can use them. At breakfast, they take a long time to replace food and sometimes they don't replace it, we arrived at 9am and there was already a lack of food.

The hotel area is excellent, close to the beach, although it is not the most beautiful beach in Itacaré. The staff are extremely polite, the accommodation is spacious.

Strengths:
The rooms are spacious
The staff are helpful and polite
The hotel area is extremely pleasant,
The breakfast is delicious and with a lot of variety.
Large pool with a cool wet bar.
The hotel is not far from Pituba street, I believe it is a 5 to 10 minute walk

Negative points:
The rooms on the ground floor are a bit lacking in privacy, we had to spend most of the time with the shutter on the door closed.
Our room was close to, I believe, a storeroom, and sometimes we woke up in the morning to the conversation of some employees who were nearby. But after we talked to them this eased a little.
At the end of the stay, the Hotel charges an OPTIONAL fee of 10% claiming to be for the benefit of the employees, however, this was only said at checkout, at least to us.
The hotel restaurant is a little expensive compared to other places in Itacaré. Ex: Crab cone R$60 reais. But what we ate there was extremely tasty.

As obras são de expansão e as áreas do hotel (recepção, restaurante, piscina, bar e quartos) não foram impactadas pelas obras, que ocorriam do lado da recepção.
