The Pousada Galeao, began operations in December 2014 , with new owners , new facilities and new environments , ensuring comfort , warmth , quality and above all safe for you to enjoy the natural beauty of Itacare. We are very well located on the way to the beaches , close to restaurants , shops and tourist center of the city. We have various types of apartments with LED TV 32 " , air conditioning, refrigerator , balcony with a hammock , daily maid service room. And We have a diverse breakfast in our mezzanine in the outdoor area . A pleasant lounge with barbecue, shower , sun beds, Wi -Fi throughout the pousada, private parking, included in the daily rate .

i stay there 4 nights and was excellent, room are simple but confortable with a terrasse and hamac, nice view, close from the main street but without any noise, very friendly staff and helpful, definitely the place to stay in Itacaré.

Our stay at Pousada Galeao was very pleasant, excellent value for money! The rooms are clean. The breakfast is outstanding: fresh and tasty. The best breakfast we’ve had during our one month stay in Brazil! The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this place!

WOW, this place is so cool and perfect, and the people is what makes it awesome. My four friends and I booked this hostel for a couple of nights, but ended up staying for a week or more! Berto, the owner, was practically the sixth member of our group. The first night we arrived, we was tired and exhausted after a long trip from rio, but Berto talked us into going out with him and some other pousada guests for dinner 😊 at the dinner, he paid for almost everything and we had a great time. From that moment on, he helped us with everything and every time we had a problem, or needed to go somewhere, he was there fixing it for us or even driving us! 😉 never experienced something like that before, so kind and truly interesting in giving us the best time and experience in itacare! Fun fact: we actually saw a champions league game at his apartment because we couldn't find a place to see the match.

I don't expect everybody to have the same experience as us, but this is genuinely a perfect place to visit.

We (4 German people) had a very nice stay at Pousada Galeao for two nights. Our host Beto was quite helpful in every possible way. Room facilities are basic, but clean, the balcony with hammocks and the terrace were pretty cool. Breakfast was pretty nice, too. A definitive recommendation if you need a nice, quiet place to stay for a reasonable price!

It s hard to put in few words all the positive about this place and its managers Monique and Moreno.
the basics are there:
-spacious and immaculate clean rooms;
-great location close to beaches and bars but at the same quiet enough;
-nice and pleasant staff and great varied breakfasts.
the extras:
-Monique and Moreno who are more like friends than posada owners.
They will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable like organising a BBQ for your departure , inviting you for drinks or to some of their favourite restaurants in town , sharing information about the city and its surroundings.
In few words : an amazing human experience and I guess at the end of the day this is what you take home with you- the people and the positive vibes you felt during your stay.
Totally recomended.

This is a great place to stay in Itacare. Few minutes walking to the beach and also very near by the Main Street. The owner of the place is a myth and his staff follow his unique style!! Breakfast has the best tapiocas ever, but u can only have 16, more than that will be charged!!

We're travelling since 8 months in different countries all over the world and our stay at Pousada Galeão was probably the best. The staff is really welcoming, friendly and helpful. You get a lot of good tips what to do, where to eat etc. The breakfast was just amazing with a lot of different (and every day you get different food) and delicios food. They picked us up from the bus station, even when we told them, they don't need to. That was a amazing surprise after a long bus ride. Would highly recommend the Pousada and definetely stay here again as it is great and they couldn't run it better!

AMAZING pousada, I have never seen such a warm and welcoming place. The rooms are perfect, the breakfast delicious and gargantuan. The boss Roberto is really an incredible person! Nice, very helping and funny, he helped us in every single task we did : finding board to surf, buying food, looking for the best restaurants, he even tooks us to the bus station! If you are seeking a place in Itacare, that's is just the best one 😊 no way you go to another pousada!

Pousada Galeo is like visiting your favorite uncle. His name is Roberto and he and the rest of the team (Diego, Junior, Marcelo etc.) go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast was great and if you had any special requests they would make it happen. The room was comfortable and very clean. It had a huge balcony with a hammock, which was great for relaxing in the afternoon. They made great recommendations for food, surf school etc. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
