I am trying to book a Kelo-Glass Igloo room for January 2017 for four nights. It would be around €630 a night and according their websites availability we might have to switch rooms. Giving the fact that I might be spending over twenty four hundred euros at this hotel, I emailed them with a question about this booking through their...

My partner had surprised me with a trip here for my birthday, was absolutely incredible. We stayed in the glass igloo for 3 nights and would love to go back. Such an experience. It was very very cold so definitely take the appropriate clothing, I went to mountain warehouse and stocked up! The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We went on...

With all the hype this place has been getting, I was convinced that I needed to visit it as a stop during my expedition to the North. The place was very touristy, crowded (obviously) and cosmopolitan, losing a bit of the Lappish magic that is so rampant in the Finnish Laplands. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, but you...

If an outdoor winter adventure is on your list, this resort is a great option. We spent 5 nights in a cabin and three night in a glass igloo / cabin. (Family of five will not fit in the smaller glass igloos.) The resort arranged all our activities -- a visit to Santa's home, reindeer sleigh ride, dog sled ride,...

To see the Northern Lights was on the top of our bucket list. When we saw the photos of the glass igloos, we fell in love with the idea of sleeping under the stars and the Northern Lights and that is exactly what happened on our first night there. Honestly, the glass igloos aren't as nice as they look from...

You need to use sled to get your luggage to igloo. It is not easy. Eight minutes from restaurant and check in. Only have toilet and basin in igloo, no mirror and eight minute walk to communal showeres. Igloos plenty warm enough and roomy. Restaurant only has choice of two menues. So out of luck if you dont like, or...

In February this year, I spent 2 nights sleeping under the stars in a glass igloo at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Village in Northern Finland. Friends I had met in Costa Rica, were travelling from Australia to visit Iceland, Norway, Finland and Russia and asked if I wanted to join for part of the trip. Having had 'sleep in an arctic...

This resort is amazing!! The location is so beautiful, like you're on another planet and the customer service is great. My best friend and I stayed in a traditional igloo (i.e. - NOT the one made of glass). It was so exciting and the cutest little room ever. All the furniture in the room was made of ice!! But by...

Excellent accomodations considering you are in a forest near the arctic circle. Food was fair, meal service a bit slow, but good value. We stayed in the log cabins, in the log cabin with attached glass igloo and in the larger glass igloo. Water was hot, beds and rooms were very comfortable. The log cabins were dark and private. The...
