The food is great and its not the same every time.
The pool is big and child friendly. And the have another pool for the elder.
And dont forget to ask for a drink called

There were smokers on the balcony. But please think of asthmatics. My wife has asthma, and she is affected by smokers nearby (including next-door-balcony-smokers). Thanks for your consideration!

However I would email the hotel to double check. It might be as you're travelling with someone over 18 they will give you an adult band.
