Although the rooms are somewhat small, they are adequate, clean and comfortable. Ilene was very hospitable and served a lovely breakfast. The common area of the BnB offers a good view of the harbour, quaint little town and is an economical option to explore Fogo Island.

Wonderful place to stay. Lovely owner, Ilene makes you feel right at home. Very comfortable bed with nice facilities. Kitchen available to make a cup of tea/coffee any time of the all day. Walking distance to local restaurants, Beaches and Mudder's. TV in room as well as in common area (living room). Lovely breakfast with home made jams and fresh baked bread; also includes choice of egg or porridge and tea/coffee/juice. Will definitely return here.

Loved our stay here. Eileen's husband, Gerald, founded the Fogo Island Accordian Group, and he, along with two other islanders, put on a little concert in the house for us one evening. They played the button accordian, guitar, and the ugly stick!! What fun! It was fantastic. This made our trip for us. We also enjoyed great hiking using hand drawn maps and advice from Eileen. This B&B is a wonderful place to stay to really experience Fogo Island. The room was clean and comfortable and the living room was available for guests to use as well as the kitchen (excluding using the stove). The price is also very affordable.

Good option to stay in Fogo Island. Rooms are quite small but clean and correct. Very charming atmosphere. The host is very kind and helpful, and provided us with a lot of info, she knows the island like the palm of her hand! Definitely a good and economic option for a visit to the island.

The host was very gracious and helpful with hikes and such in the area and dinner reservations. The rooms are standard but spacious, the breakfast was good. We spent a few nights there and would go to Fogo Island again but there was really nowhere nice to eat near Peg's. FYI: Fogo island has a lot of iron in their water, the bathwater was the colour of very strong tea.

Eileen was phenomenal. My parents and I were made to feel comfortable and at home at Peg's. The place was clean and immaculate. Our room with ensuite bathroom was comfortable and had a great view of the harbour. The breakfast was ample, healthy and wholesome. Eileen allows her guests to lounge in the living room and it was nice to relax and sip some wine with an awesome view. She was most helpful in providing information in the area. A trip to Joe Batt's arm and Tilting are really nice and scenic. Try the home made ice cream at Growlers a few metres from the famed Fogo Island Inn. Didn't get a chance to try Nicole's. But Nicole owns Growlers Ice Cream. Anyway, Peg's B & B is a really comfortable place and highly recommended.

Peg's is a friendly, low-key inn right in the center of town. No frills, communal continental breakfast. The highlight is the bistro seating on the patio: perfect place to enjoy a post-hike beer and watch the town go by.

Our family of four stayed in 2 rooms for four nights! Fogo Island is an amazing place to visit and Pegs B&B is an excellent place to base it off of! The breakfeast was very filling and delicious, and the homemade rhubarb jam was very good! Eileen was very friendly and welcoming! She gave great hiking trail recommendations and told us about fun local music at the church! The rooms were very comfortable and clean! One of the highlights of our trips!

We spent 3 nights at Pegs, and wish we had time to stay longer. Eileen is very warm and welcoming, and we felt very much at home. Breakfast every morning was just perfect for us, oatmeal or cereal, egg if you want, thick toast with jams or peanut butter, fruit salad. The oatmeal was especially delicious, and there were numerous little bowls of toppings for it..flax, cranberries, nuts, everything you can think of! Eileen had great suggestions for hiking which we appreciated very much. We stayed in the master room which was very comfortable and has a great view of the beautiful harbour. Pegs B&B is an excellent place to stay!
