Perfect weekend break. Ideal for visiting family and lovely location for Ilkley, Harrogate etc. Had good breakfast and an excellent evening meal. Might want to check out if any weddings are booked as would imagine it could be quite noisy. Lovely elegant hotel.

I made a group booking with Oakwood Hall as we were attending a conference nearby and cannot fault the service we received from Angela and the staff at Oakwood Hall; nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the food was well cooked and tasted wonderful. No complaints from anyone in our group about the...

On a whim, I looked on Tripadvisor for a place to relax and have tea that was new. This was well reviewed and I'm glad I took the chance. I called ahead to check non hotel guests were welcome and the lady on duty who greeted me was extremely friendly, rustling up tea and biscuits as I shed clothes (after...

Attended a wedding from Bingley for the weekend with the main event being at the Methodist Church followed by reception at Rudding Park Hotel Harrogate on the Saturday. We had a stop over at Oakwood Hall Hotel, which is an old Gothic Style, privately owned hotel situated in quiet woodland surroundings. It has 20 ensuite bedrooms with some having a...

After a visit on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway it was a pleasure to retire to such comfortable surroundings.Although a little out of the way the warm welcome in the country house more than made up for it. With warm spacious bedrooms, a well-stocked bar and good food this establishment calls for a further visit. The dining room is...

It was my birthday on the 27th jANUARY and my husband wanted to take me somewhere nice for lunch and this is certainly the place. The hotel is built in Gothic style and was once owned by a mill owner. When we arrived we had a warm reception and had a drink in the bar and the waiter took our...

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting family nearby. The wonderful Gothic building felt comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. We didn't eat here in the evenings but breakfast was varied and very good.

My Girlfriend and I stayed two nights. It's a beautiful opulent building, with equally beautiful surroundings. The staff we interacted with were lovely and the drinks at the bar plentiful for a decent price, but the food was expensive and could have been a bit more generous given the cost to eat there. Despite being May, the evening's were cold...
