Awesome spot - had a brilliant birthday weekend away with friends in our caravans at this great camp. Facilities were clean and tidy and staff pleasant. Will definitely be back during the warmer weather - nice and central for Mangawhai ( Bennetts Chocolates and the Chicken, Lime & Lemongrass sausages from The Meat Shop !! ) and the legendary McLeods...

Thank you so much for your kind review. It sounds like you guys have a fantastic time! Bennetts is such a fantastic place to stop in Mangawhai for a chocolatey treat and those sausages sounds incredible - I might have to venture over and try some myself! We look forward to welcoming you back to stay with us again in...

Great campsite, friendly staff and great amenities. Went caravanning for a weekend, having previously been in summer. Typical wet spring weekend but the location is still great even if the weather was not so good. Amazing to be right beside the beach and have a lovely walk in between the showers. Will look forward to summer coming.

We had a short but enjoyable stay. Everything was at our fingertips, beach, walks, cafe, kids playground and trampoline. Friendly staff who were on hand to assist when needed. A very relaxing environment. Would definitely recommend to others.

Stayed just one night in a cabin. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Bed would rate up there with any good hotel beds. Great kitchen, applicants and bathroom. Loo in room for added comfort. Would of stayed longer but were booked out. I see why. Will be back.

I'm so glad to hear that you had such a great experience in on of our self-contained cabins. They are indeed very popular. So popular, in fact, that we will be building a few more over the next couple of years! We're looking forward to welcoming you back to stay again in the future.

We stayed here on our first night of a month's campervan trip around NZ - we arrived in the dark and were given a friendly welcome. The place was virtually empty at the time of year we stayed there but all the facilities were immaculate - the loos, showers, BBQs - everything! We awoke the next morning to hear the...

My sister and I came here for a one night get away and this was absolutely perfect! A really great amount of room for 2+ people and was super clean and tidy. Plus so close the beach; we were able to roll out of bed and walk 10 meters to watch the sunrise over Waipu Beach. Absolutely awesome, thanks team!

We had a powered site for our Campervan - it was protected by the Sand Dunes but close enough for a long walk when we arrived. Lovely and quiet. Staff super friendly. The amenities clean and excellent showers only 50 cents for 5 minutes. Would be helpful to have a normal rubbish bin in the kitchen rubbish other than food...

We were greeted by helpful and cheerful staff upon arrival. During one of our office visits Cole made several fun and interesting suggestions of places to visit. The amenities included use of a full service kitchen, which we made good use of. We extended our stay until the rain stopped long enough for us to enjoy some local sightseeing. The...
