In the heart of the most beautiful area of Tuscany is this place located.
Couple (Mr. and Mrs Lorenzo) who welcomed and accommodated us were very warm hearted and helpful. Only speaking language was Italian but with hands and few phrases and occasional help from other travellers accommodated there everything was enough said and understood. The rooms were very well isolated and private. Interior was mainly rustic style so the emotion was as going to visit Your relatives in Italy countryside and that includes also a cocadoodledoo in the early morning hours - so if Youre a morning sleeper keep the windows closed. The Mr makes very good coffee. Breakfast was simple (typical in Italy). Dinner which we had 3 times is highly recommended if you want a tour in traditional Italian cooking. Everything served was gathered from surrounding farms so theres no fixed menu. We had cow, rabbit and the lamb as a main course. The best were the second course- ravioli, picci (other Italian turists appraised these very much) and lasagne of course. Red wine which mister served was excellent and my wife loved it although she usually prefferres white.
In the evening You can watch fireflies in the olive tree garden - beautiful times 100. Location is ideal for visiting small towns and countryside in the area. and in the middle of the hill so no mosquitos or other annoying bugs there. Wifi signal was strong and in good speed. Will definetly visit again.

We stayed here in July 2012. We found it a magical place to stay. The room was beautiful, with a picture perfect postcard view of Tuscany from our bedroom window. It was quiet and very relaxing. Ghino and Lorenza cooked for us every night and the aromas that wafted from the house after a day exploring the local area had us eagerly anticipating our meals. We dined al fresco and with our hosts, who were so very friendly and entertaining, and very generous with their wine (from the farm vineyard) which was excellent, as was the food. We have very fond memories of those evenings. I was pregnant at the time (more wine for my husband) and found our stay very comfortable. Thank you so much, and sorry we didn't manage to write this review earlier, we could not recommend this place highly enough and will return with our family in the future.

What a fabulous place. The hosts were great, but spoke very little English. Thankfully, this was no problem and we loved every minute there. The room had a view over the Tuscan landscape to make your mouth water, and was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at la buca. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and in such a beautiful setting. The wifi was good too. The best part though without a doubt was the food! We ate 2 nights at the farm with Lorenzo and
Eduardo and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was amazing and gave us an insight into typical Tuscan cuisine. Plus we got to try eduardos home brewed grappa which was a real treat! They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed everything and we only wished we spoke more Italian so we could get to know them better. Thank you so much Lorenza and eduardo!

This farm is located in spectacular countryside between San Quirico d'Orcia (one mile away) and Pienza (five miles away). Beautiful views from our bedroom and bathroom windows. Guida and wife Lorenza are warm and friendly hosts, although be warned that they don't speak English. Breakfast is available at five euros per person, and sometimes Lorenza will cook dinner for guests who wish it. They grow grain for pasta companies, olives for their family's oil, and grapes for their home-grown wine-making set-up. Hard to believe we got this beautiful but simple room for 70 euros a night. We'll definitely be back.

Very comfortable place to stay. The room are clean and the dinner is so good. If you have a request for the dinner you can ask them to cook. They will try as much as they can.
I recommend you this "agriturismo" because it runs the family so it isn't big and from there you can see amazing view!

We stayed here recently for three nights and had a great time. The farm location is excellent with views over the Tuscan countryside. The view from our window was of the exact view you get when you look up a picture of Tuscany, really amazing!

The owners Lorenza and Ghino are lovely people. When we arrived we were given a bottle of red wine from there own vineyard which was excellent. Lorenza made our breakfast every morning and really looked after us and gave us real Tuscan food.

As far as location goes you will struggle to find somewhere to stay with a better view. We have stayed all over the world and this is in out top 3!

If you want the real authentic Tuscan holiday stay here you will not be disapointed!

Thank you Agriturismo La Buca

We stayed in this wonderful agriturismo as part of our honeymoon. The area around and the view over the Tuscan hillsides is absolutely gorgeous. We have visited around over all Tuscany, but the view from this agriturismo is one of the best!

The room we had was also nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean as well and had all facilities. One minor point of improvement would be the bed: it’s quite hard/stiff. Apart from that we had an amazing stay.

The owner Lorenza is also a very friendly and helpful lady and ensured that we had a comfortable and romantic stay (thanks for the flowers at the first day!).

In conclusion: looking to travel around southern Tuscany? Then you must have this gem as your base!

Regards, J&I

We stayed 4 days here across New Year's Eve and it has been a great experience. The place is authentic with a real Tuscany feeling starting from the cypresses leading the way, the house made of stone and a great view of the surrounding hills. Lorenza and her husband are great host, taking care of their guest and making sure we enjoyed our stay. Every morning they prepare a nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made cakes, but they were also generous to make us a salty breakfast for a couple of days with nice omelette and cheese. Lorenza gave us a lot of good suggestion for our trip to visit the most important things in val d'orcia as well as Siena. The rooms are simple, tidy and with all you need, plus a great view from our window which is breathtaking. I recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Tuscan experience.

If you get one of the rooms with a view, they are breathtaking. No air conditioning, tv, housekeeping and erratic wifi. Access to a fridge would have been a big plus. Hosts spoke very little English. Discount voucher for nearby thermal baths was nice touch. Breakfast at additional Euro 5 per person consisted of a coffee and slice of cake with small ramekin of yoghurt.

Good evening Mr Gareth For the room that had booked we were specified the following services: • heating • private entrance • marble floor tiles • mosquito nets • Wardrobe / Closet • shower • hairdryer • bathrobe • WC • Bathroom • bidet It was clear that there was no air conditioning and TV, cleaning (if not required) are done weekly. I'm sorry for wi-fi, it is usually via cable have 9-10 Mbps with upload 0.70. Excuse the fridge which had not yet been put in the room. Our breakfast (Italian) Euro 5,00 per person served at the table , includes (even with bis): cappuccino or tea or coffee ', bread, butter and homemade jam, house cake, yoghurt and fruit juice and honey. I believe we must at the time of booking, carefully read if the desired services are offered and not by booking at the last minute for two days (July) and then complain unnecessarily.
