When we first found this villa online we thought it was too good to be true. We were looking for a place to rent for our 20th wedding anniversary where we could bring about 30 friends and family to celebrate with us. Nerbona was beautiful and so affordable! Every room is charming, comfortable and accommodating for different sized families, so we were able to invite single friends, couples, and families with children. Working with Cristina, Elena, and Elisa to plan our stay and anniversary party was such a pleasure. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The food and dining experience were incredible. Months later, our guests are still talking about how wonderful our Tuscan vacation was. I highly recommend Nerbona. It is perfect if you just want to laze around the pool looking at the scenery or for venturing out to nearby towns and sights.

As a mixed German and English couple we decided to get married on neutral ground in beautiful Tuscany. We stumbled across the venue and decided to book the whole place to allow the guests to get to know each other over the four days.

Safe to say we had an absolutely smashing time, as did all the guests. We booked the place around a year ahead of the event and there was a huge amount to organise (the wedding was for 100 people 75 of which were staying in the venue). We must have exchanged over 100 emails with Elena and Cristina over the course of the year and despite the language barrier, they did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect. They were incredibly patient with us before, during and after the wedding.

Of course in an event that lasted 4 days with 100 people there were some challenges along the way, including an unfortunate mix up with one of the suppliers. However, Elena and Cristina helped us through it and we worked out compromises.

I also have to give a shout out to Elisa, Francesco and team, who were running the restaurant. They did a great job - food (which was a fully vegan menu) and service was spot on.

All in all, we had the best few days of our lives and many of our guests were saying the same thing. We will never forget it and attached a couple of pics to give an idea!

Thanks so much Nerbona. I think we will be back under less strenuous circumstances and would love to share a drink with you all!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in July and have already booked to go back with friends next year - that will be our third stay.

A very warm welcome from Elisa, Cristina and Maurizio who were all friendly and helpful. You can order a daily delivery of fresh bread which arrives around 9.00am so ideal for breakfast.

The apartment is clean and tidy and is pretty well equipped with all we needed to cook for ourselves. There is a large communal indoor kitchen area with a big bbq outside that you can use. For bad weather there are plenty of tables and chairs inside and also some outside so that you can cook and eat there instead of in your apartment. This was great when we wanted to eat with friends. There is also a smaller bbq area you can use if you just want to bbq by yourselves.

The pool is clean and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for all so that you can sit by the pool or if it gets too hot, then you can take them into the shade of the nearby trees.

There is an indoor table tennis table and table football for children and 'big kids' to play on as well as several bikes you can borrow to cycle out and explore the countryside. There are also badminton rackets and net and a football with goals so plenty told keep children amused.

The nearest towns are Colle di Vale d'Elsa and Casole d'Elsa. Both of these have some nice cafés and restaurants to visit. There are several other nice restaurants at other agriturismos nearby.

This year in the communal area there was a vending machine which was great for a quick coffee - saved having to drive into town to find one. Not the best coffee, but I had at least one, if not two, daily.

Can't wait to go back next year - 48 weeks and counting!!!

We got 2 large rooms + large dining room. The surrounding is very green and quiet. there is swimming pool in the summer (was closed during our stay in October, and it was too cold). free bicycles. The kitchen has almost all you need (at our room there was no electric kettle and no microwave). You can order a dinner for the evening you arrive which was perfect for us. Once a week you can join a Toscan buffe dinner which was also great.
Many insects and spiders in the room (that's is probably the price of staying in the country side).
The light in the room was not enough especially in the kitchen.

For our this years summerworkshop, our company decided to book this wonderful Agritourismo . We booked the whole complex for 53 people. The service of Eliza and Cristina was brilliant. They made everything possible. We had a few extra whishes and they fulfilled every single whish. Thank you for that! Next to the beautiful apartments, the complex offers a pool, volleyball, soccer, table tennis, table soccer, bikes and many more free time activites. The landscape is breathtaking. Cristina made it possible to get fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning. I can´t think of any better place to stay in Tuscany. Thank you for the great stay! It was a pleasure to have you as a host!

Best whishes,
Sara and the rest of the flightright Team!

One week of relax. peaceful surrounding, a beautiful homestead. Have returned for three years with my family. There are frequent excursions that are organized. Once a week there is a dinner with typical tuscany food. The caretakers are very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here from the 4th July 2015 for two weeks. We had a lovely time, the weather was very hot never below 35C each day so the pool was most welcome for a cooling dip.

Nerbona is perfectly placed if you have your own transport for visiting Siena, only 22 km away and also Pisa and Firenze. We went to Firenze on the train from Poggibonsi and it was only 7.90 euros return per person excellent value.

Nerbona is very clean, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location. They have bikes to ride on the trails around the estate with great views over the Tuscan countryside. We recommend the group meals that they have twice a week as they are great value and quality.
The staff are very helpful and a special mention to ELISA who was particularly good

We will return

My husband and I stayed here in late April to early May 2012 for two weeks. We cannot recommend this place enough. The location is fantastic. It is about a 1 hour drive from Pisa (45 minutes if you don't get lost!). It is also perfectly situated for sienese hill towns. 15 minutes from San Giminiano and 30 minutes drive from Sienna. You are less than 10 minutes drive from Colle di Val d'elsa. It is also very near all the other Siennes hill towns too. Nerbona is a real find. It has a wonderful tuscan drive way leading up to the first of two converted farm houses (they are all apartments with varying numbers of bedrooms - there is also a separate building which is a self contained cottage) which are joined together by a track which runs through a wood. There are sweeping poppy fields all around. There are mountain bikes for all guests to use and you can use them free of charge whenever you want to explore the grounds and the wooded track (if you like running, the tracks are perfect for that too). The views from both farm houses are simply stunning. The rooms are really comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms modern. The kitchen had all the pans and knives etc that you would need to cook anything you wanted. When you arrive there is a small welcome basket. Everything was spotlessly clean. There are two pools (one at each farm house) surrounded by lovely sun beds. The pool is not heated but we were able to use it in May and on some days, this was a relief as it was really hot! The gardens and grounds are beautifully kept; wonderful lavender and rosemary. There is also a communal area which has a large kitchen and lounge area and an outside BBQ area and a large table - if you went with a group of friends I cannot imagine anything for perfect for many enjoyable evenings cooking and drinking and lots of fun! The place is also perfect for families and small children. lots of space to run around and play. There is also a communal area with a Bosch washing machine and tumble dryers and lots of drying racks for you to use whenever you want. The place is not run by the owners but by Sarah and her boyfriend - they are so lovely and VERY good at their jobs. They could not have done more or been more friendly and helpful and they really make the place feel special. They clearly take a lot of pride in their work and they cannot do enough for you. I really cannot recommend this place more highly - location, beauty, comfort and lovely people. If you want a holiday where you can really experience Tuscany then this is the place for you!

Having had such a relaxing, comfortable stay at Nerbona last year, we returned this year with two other couples (neither of whom had stayed there before). Everyone agreed that it is a clean, well-managed agriturismo in a quiet country setting at very reasonable prices. The Italian-speaking manager had a young, just-learning-English apprentice working with her this year; the young woman did an excellent job as translator, map reader, and restaurant recommender (if that's a word). The apartments are clean, nicely decorated, and with full kitchens. We enjoyed a picnic lunch on the lawn, sunning by the pool, and sipping wine on our "patio" in the evening. Highly recommended. Note: In case they are important to you, there is no restaurant on-site, no room service, and no English TV (last year we had CNN Int'nat'l and BBC World; no more).
