The organisation and food provided by the hotel was very good. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The food was of a very good standard. Overall a very pleasant evening thanks to everyone at the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the bed comfortable, we had a walk in shower ..and bathrobes! Our room was nicely decorated and had a balcony with two chairs and a table. We loved sitting there in the evening and enjoy a glass of rosé, a present from the hotel management. Nice touch! Tea and coffee facilities were provided in the room and they provided fresh milk for our tea! There was a lift. A lovely little hotel with a secure car park. It is situated at about 800 meters from the centre of the town. Most of the clientele seemed to be over 65 years old and were staying here for the cures (eg hydrotherapy) that Gréoux has to offer. The swimming pool was situated between car parks so not very inviting. I was not tempted. Good internet connection. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant, the food was good and the service was excellent. We ate à la carte but everyone else seemed to be enjoying the set menu with a carafe of tap water - the healthy and cheaper option!…
I was very disappointed with this hotel. The staff were friendly and the location is fine but the hotel is over-priced and wrongly categorized. It isn’t well-maintained and has obviously seen better days. It really needs an update. What’s more there was a pungent chemical odour in the section I stayed in, including in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was a peculiar kind of wet room. In short, I think it should be rated as a 3-star rather than a 4-star hotel; to do otherwise is misleading.
We came here whilst visiting the lavender farms and vineyards in the local area. It’s well placed, circa 15mins walk into town. We booked a suite which had everything you needed. The average age in the hotel however was about 60+ which gave it a bit of a retirement home feel. Then again the town is aimed at that age range for spa weekends... The staff were very helpful and nice. Overall, the hotel was fine for a quick stop over and I would recommend it.
Do not book at this hotel with Thalasseo. It is a fraud. I booked a spa package for a date offered and then discovered after purchase the spa is closed that day. When I tried to reschedule the dates, the hotel and Thalasseo charged my credit card again (400€ total) with a 200€ change fee. Each party has refused to refund the extra change fee charges while blaming each other and the reception has been very rude. What spa is closed on the weekend?
