Lovely pub. Very good food and nice beers. Looks like it has just been refurbished (looks very good) and has a nice feel, doesn't feel like you are on top of each other either. Good beer, tastes good and good selection, I will be adding it to the good beer guide recommendations. They currently serve Elland brewery ales and landlord....

Went with friends sat tea time the food was lovely plentiful would realy recomend it as i am a faddy eater it was lovley the staff were so friendly the service was quick lovely surroundings when it said home made it was told few of my friends already will be going back

On arrival at 7.30 we were shown to our table in the conservatory.No waiter service so fetched drinks and then ordered food at the bar.This involved to-ing and fro-ing as first choice (lamb shoulder)wasunavailable.By the time our food arrived at 8.30 we were alone in the conservatory so the atmosphere was flat.When we were nearly finished eating we were asked...

Very accommodating of our party of 20 including young children and a dog. Great food with substantial portions, all home cooked. Friendly staff and homely feel about the place. Will definitely come again!

Visited for the first time over the weekend , what a lovely atmosphere. Food was first class as was the service . Plenty of choice for a beer too , also different coffees should you require a baileys Irish with coffee Will definitely be going back

I went for Sunday lunch on the 22nd January. The staff could not do any better, even though we through a few curve balls at them. They coped very well. The food was excellent and I would Recomended it, without exception.

I visited with my family for a birthday celebration . We had booked a table suitable for a wheelchair and the staff had clearly thought about the one they had allocated us which had plenty of room . The disabled access is very easy at the pub too . We were able to set up a tab for the evening...

Eight of us enjoyed a stop here that appears to have been done up to a nice standard. We All ordered sandwiched a few chips and onion rings to share. The beers all very good I had Landlord.
