I recently had the pleasure of being a guest of this wonderful hotel. For 18 days of rest I enjoyed every moment. The whole atmosphere is made so that a person is actually happy. Each hotel staff is especially friendly, the food is very tasty, the service is first class. I especially want to thank several employees who differ from others with their professionalism and sensitive attention to customers. This is our house manager Ashra, she is a wonderful person and gave us high service and we felt very comfortable every day, she organized everything herself and always guessed ahead of time what we would like. I am very grateful to her. The guys from the restaurant, who were distinguished by special professionalism, did everything to make us happy, this is a friendly and modest girl named Anel, Mabruk and Mantu. I also especially want to write about the trainer in the gym, his name is Roman. I did several exercises with him, where he showed me in detail the correct technique, so that there was a result and the training was as safe as possible for health. I have been doing fitness for many years with a personal trainer, but I have not yet met such a competent trainer, I highly recommend everyone to take training with Roman, he is a really knowledgeable trainer. If I could, I would invite him to London to train with him. In the end, I am very satisfied with everything, they do everything to make you want to come back again and again. Highly recommended! …
Or since its french centric, Bugatti might be the better analogy. Cheval is a resort that few can afford but has levels of performance that mere mortals can only dream of. You can get 90% performance at many other resorts at half the price, but that elusive 10% of perfection I have never seen anywhere else. 1. Our butler Saddam was the man. Many high-end resorts do a great job of training hospitality, but it's rare to find a very high IQ person with a genuine calm warmth that was always positive and on his game. Saddam always had an answer and often took unrequested proactive steps to make our stay better. We viewed our experience through the resort via our interactions with him as he made our wishes commands. 2. The entire staff worked as a hive. They must to have a cloud-based notes system so that personalization could be shared across the resort. Like Saddam, everyone we encountered where smart empowered problem solvers that were focused on our experience. 3. That all being said, it's crazy expensive. It's really easy to spend outrageous amounts of money here. While this place rocks, it is not what I would call bang for your buck, it is luxury at any cost. 4. Chica our snorkel and scuba instructor was great and also the deckhands. 5. There are many cool and unique activities to do on the island and the spa was very good. The spa island is very calm to just hang out on as well. 6. Our room was rock and roll with excellent design and technology, the only complaint I have is families of 4 should be able to stay in a one-bedroom. A warm jacuzzi somewhere on the island would be great as well. 7. The only hiccups in our trip were on arrival and departure. They majorly dropped the ball on our arrival, no one was there and we did not have the VIP airport escort we requested and on our departure, I wish they would have arranged our departure earlier, we barely made our flight and it was stressful and the Maldives airport is a nightmare. Overall, it was a service like we have never experienced and good motivation to try to earn enough money to come back again one day.…
Staying at Cheval Blanc is something you have to experience. The treatment we recieved since the arrival to Male until our departure was excellent. During our stay, Saddam made sure that all of our needs were taken care of and all of our expectations were surpassed. The food was delicious and the chefs at each restaurant were very, very attentive. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.
Truly an incredible experience all around for our honeymoon. The entire property was immaculate, the villas were beautiful and comfortable, the food was great and the service was top notch. The entire staff was wonderful. Our Majordome, Saddam, went out of his way to ensure everything was to our liking, from bringing us coffee and pastries every morning to helping us book all of our activities and reservations. The resident mixologist, Nilesh, made the best Negroni (with yuzu) we've ever had. For a special occasion, it is hard to imagine a better place than Cheval Blanc.
Spent five wonderful days at one of the water villas at Cheval Blanc Randheli with the family in Nov 2022. This was our first trip after three years due to pandemic induced travel restrictions. And what a trip it was! The villa was truly amazing and even more beautiful than in the pictures or the videos on YouTube. Kudos to Laurent Chancel the GM for his warm hospitality, to Remy the pastry chef for the wonderful croissants and other lovely creations that he sent to our table every day during breakfast (I still miss your sugar brioche Remy), to Eman for ferrying us back to the villa with a smile late at night after dinner, and to Saddam our wonderful Major Dome for making sure that all our needs (even the tiniest ones) are met. Saddam even went out of his way to proactively get us complimentary bottles of Volvic when he noticed that we brought along Volvic to the resort (it happens to be our beverage of choice). It was also such a lovely experience to be cycling from our villa to the main area of the resort while being greeted at every corner by staff in French (either a bonjour or a bonsoir, depending on the time of the day) who would stop by to let us through. It is these little things that we will remember from our trip to Cheval Blanc. The food was also fantastic and the highlights were the breakfast (especially the pastries), the Italian restaurant Deelani (esp the truffle pizza, fritto misto, linguine vongole), and their homemade ice cream. Saw some baby sharks at the resort, a pair of stingrays, and a pod of dolphins (swimming past our villa after a brief shower). We enjoyed working out at the gym and playing pool and foosball at the lounge, Had a blast and my daughter really did not want to leave when it was time to go. My husband and I had an incredible experience at Cheval Blanc celebrating my special birthday and enjoying the variety of what the property had to offer. When we arrived, the staff and management were sensitive to the long journey we endured to get to the property., which was very comforting.The weather wasn't the best the first couple of day, Gasim- our Kingsman, the staff and management went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the property despite the weather. The villa was beautiful and comfortable. The little things we asked for to make our stay in the villa comfortable were provided within the first 30 mins of us arriving and were replenished during our stay. Thank you Gasim. The service and quality in the restaurants, gym, spa, yoga class, water activities and support around the island is unforgettable. Actually, as we move beyond our stay at the Resort, we appreciate the beauty of the Maldives and our experience at Cheval Blanc more and more. We plan on returning to the resort and want to thank everyone for making my special birthday and our time there extraordinary. The decision to end our honeymoon at Cheval Blanc was the best decision we could have ever taken (while I am writing this review at the airport, I am crying for leaving this paradise!). Before deciding which hotel to go in the Maldives, my husband carried out an in depth due diligence of the best hotels in the Maldives, and the conclusion was that Cheval Blanc was the best hotel for us. The hotel is stylish and has a great personality and all details are perfectly designed. We will summarize below our experience during our 6 days stay at Cheval Blanc: Management. The management team is on top of every detail. Both Laurent and Sebastian are super accessible, you see them everyday at the hotel facilities and their willingness to deliver a top quality service is amazing. The treatment that we have received from both of them has no room for improvement. Food. The level of the food is really high in all hotel restaurants. We had been told by certain friends that food in the Maldives was not good but, in my view, this was not applicable to Cheval Blanc’s restaurants. We did not visit the 1947 restaurant, so we have no basis for evaluation of this one. In any case, we were surprised by the high quality of the Delaani (Italian) and Diptyque (Japanese) restaurants (we went twice to both). There was a starter in Delaani which was the best we had in our honeymoon (seabass carpaccio with pesto and dried tomatoes). There are several special dinner days every two nights with amazing thematic menus, (we had the taste of the Indian Ocean and the Lobster Dinner). The breakfast menu is simply breathtakingly long (25 pages) containing anything you may want, and the execution is flawless either in the villa or at the restaurant; however we found one flaw this is the quality of the Jamón Ibérico… it is not at the level expected of a hotel like this although we understand from conversations that pork products in the Maldives are heavily taxed. Hence having good quality Jamón Ibérico may be too expensive. Room. The room is beautiful and the amenities are super nice. My husband and I think that the room is the perfect apartment for a marriage without kids, as it can be an open space that, at the same time, can be converted into three separate areas (living room, bedroom and toilet). The pool with views to the lagoon was perfect! I still remember my mornings starring at the Indian Ocean! Hopefully I will be back soon. Service. Service was taking care of every detail and made our stay perfect. Saddam was our butler and he took care of every detail, he was really professional and also an amazing person. The last night, we decided to have dinner at the Villa, as it was raining a lot. He organized an unforgettable romantic dinner with candles at the Villa. He also helped us planning all our activities during our stay. All suggestions that he made to us were worth it. In particular, he suggested an Indian dinner by the beach, a lobster menu another night and also suggested us to try the surf simulator. Thanks to him, my husband did exercise during the honeymoon!! When I return to Cheval Blanc (hopefully, very soon), I would love to have again Saddam as butler. Apart from Saddam, the rest of the staff at the island is perfect. In particular, the waiter at the White bar (Alhi) and the waiter at Delaani (Aghraf) did a great job and gave us many helpful recommendations. Sports. I also went to the gym everyday. The gym equipment is top quality (newest Technogym machines). To me, this is highly appreciated when I travel. I also took several private yoga lessons (two on my own and one with my husband). Yen, the yoga master was so amazing that even my husband tried yoga for the first time in his life (with the support from Sebastian, the business manager!). In my private lessons, she gave me very useful tips and recommended exercises to progress on my practice. I will follow her advice for sure once I am in Spain. These days with Yen have made me feel very committed to improve in my practice in Madrid. Spa. The spa facilities are the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and I normally visit hotel’s spas. We took two treatments and now I feel my muscles relieved. Check-in and check-out. Both check-in and check-out are really easy-going and smooth. This is highly appreciated when you come from a long flight. So, in summary, I can only recommend Cheval Blanc (at least for couples, as I don’t have kids). I would like to keep trying more Cheval Blanc hotels and also be back at Cheval Blanc Randheli. …
We had the most fabulous honeymoon at the cheval blanc! Highly recommend! All of the staff (especially our majordome Saddam) were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. The service is Impeccable. The food was also wonderful. We are already plotting out other cheval Blancs to visit and can’t wait to return to this one!!! We loved it all!!
Our stay at Cheval Blanc Randheli Maldives was beyond expectations. From the moment you arrive, till the day of departure they treat you in the highest form of hospitality, as if you are part of their family. The food and accommodation were amazing, truly beyond expectations. The views of the ocean were incredible, as well as the spa treatments. What truly made our stay fantastic was the experience of the service of our Majordome, Saddam, and Yousef. They gave as exceptional service. They arranged everything within moments notice, and also recommended activities to be arranged for each day of our stay. Saddam and Yousef truly went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. They also gave us a wonderful, and comfortable time during our stay. I would recommend Cheval Blanc to everyone I know, and rate it a 10/10. Totally amazing! It was our first trip to Maldives and this place was absolutely the best choice. The best paradise hotel in the world there is. Everything in Cheval Blanc Randheli was perfect: management, restaurants, fresh and tasty food (Breakfasts the best in the world👍👌), friendly and professional stuff, water sports. Villa was luxurious with fantastic view. Special thanks to our Majordome Saddam, he is superb. He took care of everything, superfast work (special thanks for extra coffee capsules;-)) We will come back.
