My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while we visited the Tobermory area. Located less than 5 minutes from town, this is a very convenient place to stay.

When planning our trip, I had looked at a few different campgrounds and decided on Lands End as I liked the quiet time policy. We weren’t disappointed. Before the 11:00 quiet time even began, the place is silent. It was nice not having to worry about noisy neighbours keeping us awake all night, which has happened at other campgrounds.

Check-in was quick and easy and the staff friendly. We were given a fob to open the gate, so the campground is as secure as you can make it.

The site we had is quite private and just a short walk to the washrooms, which were kept very clean. The campsite was also very clean, with the gravel freshly raked clear of any sticks & larger stones. The fire pit had also been cleaned out of leftover ashes.

Not every site here is private. As we drove by some of the other sites, they were a bit more open and had fewer trees separating them. (They also had gravel pads, which makes me think these were the premium sites, but I’m just guessing)

The tenting sites all looked fairly private, if a little on the small side, although, that could just be in comparison to the RV sites. It’s been too many years since I’ve been tenting

While we didn’t use the beach, we did go down to see it. It’s a nice, sandy little beach, which has been marked off for social distancing purposes. I didn’t count, but I would guess there was room enough for 10-12 family bubbles.

We were very impressed with Lands End Park and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tobermory

My family and I LOVE this park. The park is very close to the town of Tobermory, you could easily ride your bike there . The park is set in the woods and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The sites are level and surrounded by trees.

Please don’t be influenced by others who have left reviews complaining about being kicked out, etc. You need to consider the source and you’re only getting a one sided perspective. I can guarantee you there’s more to the story.

We’ve been to this park twice now for week long stays and we feel so relaxed, safe and welcomed when we’re there. We will be back time and time again. The owners are very nice, fair and accommodating.

There is no sewer hook up but both times we’ve paid $20 to have the septic truck come to our site and empty our tank. Well worth it and I’m grateful for that service. Book the truck in advance at the office.

Bathrooms are clean each bathroom has one shower that is quarter operated and gives u 4 min of hot water. Sites are nice , some are a bit small and on hills but very quiet after 11pm. Great beach and boat launch for kayaks. Can ride your bike into town. We will definetely be back.

Best non Provincial park camping!

We usually camp in Provincial or national parks so are used to just water and electric but this is even better they come around and empty your sewage. Some fantastic sites that are private, great hiking trail and private beach. Also doesn’t feel like those trailer parks, much more natural. Glad they don’t put up with yahoo’s either. Really worth the drive, glad to be back there end of July 2022.

We stayed here for 2 nights in campground and had a large site removed somewhat from other campers so good privacy. We opted to walk into town -- about 20-25 minutes along a country road so no issues. Staff at camp were very pleasant and had no issues. The washrooms were open (although showers closed which we knew) and kept very clean.
Had a nice stay

Gorgeous tent sites with lots of privacy and shade. Very flat space for tents. Trees were strong enough for hammocks, and there was enough room for the tents to be far removed from the fire area. Our kids loved the small beach. The bathrooms and shower were in fine shape.
Make sure you read the email carefully when you reserve a spot, your reservation isn't final until you respond to their confirmation. A couple that arrived at the same time as us hadn't done that, though the staff was patient and was able to accommodate them.

We had a small issue which was that the other campers had not checked out by the time we checked in at 2pm, the front desk staff was extremely attentive and understanding of the issue. They immediately contacted the people who still had not checked out of our site. They worked on dissemble their site while the campers where on their way back. They following day one staff member was very reasonable to our experience and offered us an in-store credit which we used to get ice, fire wood and playing cards. The campground is very unique offering many amenities and surroundings with each campsite private and different from the next. We ended up loving the place with its own private beach area and many boat options for rental. Staff always working on maintaining the grounds and bathrooms very clean. Nice pond area that is a habitat for frogs and turtles, kids really enjoyed it! Will definitely go back, great family campground as it chills out at 11pm.

Enjoyed our stay at Lands End Park!!
We usually camp in Algonquin, so we were unsure what to expect of this camping trip. But we were pleasantly surprised. The sites are private, with good tree seclusion. The site was well cleaned when we got there. We loved the fire pits (although a grill over the fire pit for cooking would have been nice)
The bathrooms were always clean.
The location of this camp is the best, close to Tobermory easy bike ride into town.
Highly recommended.

This park is amazing, have been going for the past 3 years and never had an issue. We always rent the cabin, always talk and play music, and have never had a single issue. I 100% agree with the owner's decision to kick people out who have extremely loud and rowdy kids - it's annoying and disturbing to all of the other people in the park. Nobody is coming to a peaceful and beautiful campground to hear you and your kids yelling all day.

Bathrooms are clean, cabins are beautiful, and kayak rental is well priced.

Will continue to visit our favourite park :)

Extremely clean and natural; the tidiest camp I have ever seen. Washrooms nice pine and all amenities. I bet this place has been around quite a while; traditional feel about it. We heard coyotes, saw a raccoon and watched a turtle lay her eggs. The owners put protective cages over the eggs. Also they seem very environmental and caring. Close to town and all the local events.

Yes. There are a few water view sites on the beach side. Opposite side of main campground separated by a county road. Very nice sites. Not good for large trailers.
