Truly this is a 4.5 review. Staff: Both girls out front were friendly and helpful. The girls over at the Blue Anchor cruise were great as well. Room: We book the king room with jacuzzi tub. The room was clean and tidy. Everything was well stocked. We were on the ground floor so it was very convenient to grab stuff...

The rooms are clean, the beds are super comfortable, the service is superb, the location is great. Make sure to enjoy the sunset on the patio across the street. We also got 50% off the tickets for a boat trip to Flowerpot Island. Highly recommended motel.

First off the location is optimum. Real close to lots of stuff [although the list seems endless... the chi chee maun ferry, restaurants, shopping, grocery store, lcbo and hiking tours to name a few.]. the Bruce Anchor staff where pleasant and helpful, Our cottage was clean and well organized with excellent heating/ac, free parking, some space out back to run...

Spent the long May weekend in Tobermory, staying at the Bruce Anchor. The property and rooms are very clean and well taken care off. We booked a room with a King bed and Jacuzzi tub. The tub was huge and it looked fairly new. The bathroom was spotless and updated. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are in the room as well...

We stayed at the Bruce Anchor for two nights to visit a friend in the area. Granted, it's not opulent, but it is clean, pleasant and restful. The staff we spoke to were very friendly and suggested local attractions we could see. Only negatives: the common balconies could be a privacy issue if the hotel is busy, and the bed...

Clean rooms, great location at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, easy walking distance of everything in town. The veranda outside our king room had great sunset views across the lake. Staff were very helpful.

On a trip to the Soo we took the ferry to Manitoulin Island. To catch the early morning ferry, we ended up staying the night before at the Bruce Anchor Motel. The motel is located very close to the ferry docks and a short walk into town. Given it was October, cold and rainy - we didn't do walk. The...

We found this motel after arriving in busy little Tobermory without booking accommodation first. (I certainly wouldn't do that if travelling in the summer). The young lady in the office was lovely and friendly and showed us two rooms, we choose the one with a view looking towards the lake where the glass bottom boat leaves from. Our room was...

The motel is located very close to the Manitoulin ferry, so it's perfect to check in, park the car, and explore the very scenic town on foot. The room itself (waterside) was generously sized, clean, and with a well-lit washroom area. Lots of outside patio areas conveniently located to enjoy the views, and meet people from all over. Good wi-fi...
