We wanted to escape to a nice place where we could enjoy nature, hikes, views and local food. We found it in our travel to Tobermory. What a gorgeous place!!!!! We took a hike in one of the local parks - The Grotto Bruce Peninsula National Park that took you to a nice gorgeous lake. Beautiful. If you like nature and some quiet time this is the place. For people who camp and fish, Tobemory is perfect. And it is so close to us in the U.S. as we live in Ohio. We stayed at the Adventure The Bruce Inn which is a beautiful property. The room was in excellent condition and very clean. The only thing that I would add in order to make your money worth it, is because the price of the per night stay was above the average hotel/motel/inn stay, would be that the owners should include breakfast. I know I am being picky but the parking lot was gravel and by the time we left there our car was is a desperate need of a wash. For the amount that you spend to stay, the parking lot should be paved. We took a stroll to check out the local restaurants and the food was excellent. We also took a boat tour at the Little Tub Harbor of all the little islands and it was fun. I would totally recommend a stay at the Adventure Bruce Inn. Tobermory was such cute quaint town that we loved it. Go check out Tobermory, Ontario Canada and drive there because the views are breath taking.

Convenient location, clean rooms but nothing fancy. Good place to stay the night. The floors are tiled but clean. We visited during Stage 2 of Reopening so the hot tub was closed but there were tables to sit outside though we were asked to sanitize them ourselves. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room.

The hotel is about 1k from town (within walking distance if you want to walk). Relatively new hotel in the area and very clean.
Staff is friendly, due to COViD, no daily house keeping! But you can pick up the extra towels, water and coffee from the front desk. They had Keurig coffee machine in the room so it was convenient to make your own coffee in the morning.
The only disadvantage is that there is no view from the room but it is quiet and clean. We would stay here again when we come back to the areas.

We stayed there on Sept 27-30 for 3 nights. Before arrived, we had concerned after reading some reviews. However when we entered the room, we were surprised that it was nice and clean. The room has been upgraded with Sealy Luxury Mattress, Keurig® K-Supreme Plus™ Coffee Maker with premium organic coffee, new AC, fireplace and Dehumidifier. They are all out of our expectation. The bed was very comfy and the sheet was clean that we both had good sleeps during our 3 nights.

When we arrived, we were informed that there was a problem, but the front desk solved the problem immediately. We were happy and satisfied.
Adventure on the Bruce Inn is a nice place for a comfortable stay. There are BBQs free to use. Great location. Highly recommend to stay at the Adventure Bruce Inn.

We rented a cabin and it was perfect in every way! It started when I called to make the reservation with the friendly, accommodating service. The two people I spoke with (at different times) answered all of my questions about their establishment and the area in general. The room itself looks brand new, is beautifully decorated with the outside nicely landscaped, and everything is extremely clean. The king sized bed is very comfortable. Free parking with the vehicle right at our door. The location is a short 10 minute walk to Tobermory. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The room looked recently renovated, nice workmanship. It wasn't a big room but it was cozy, warm, clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep. The price was very reasonable during September which was the lower season. They do have log cabin room.

Adventure the Bruce Inn is a place you should AVOID and never even think of booking. I learned my lesson hard. I cancelled my booking due to personal reasons but the management would not want to refund my money. I offered for at least a nominal fee instead of losing my entire money but they refuse. I also offered to re-take my booking but They said that they already release the room and that another party booked it. The Inn is not losing any customer as a result of the cancellation but would also want to keep the money of the party that cancelled it. This is not a humane practice, inconsiderate and very dubious. Had i read the bad reviews for this inn I would have not booked there.

This place has a great location with parking. Only 10 walk from the harbour were parking is limited. Room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and water and small bat fridge. The room is air-conditioned and has a little fireplace. The grounds are beautiful with sitting areas and a pond. Staff friendly and helpful. There is a grocery store across the street. I would recommend this place.

I had to reschedule my visit because on the day of departure my son was sick. The 18 year old working the front desk was professional and polite. However she did not have the authority to move my reservervation to another of the 8 dates I suggested. I booked the last rooms for my dates and then I saw after I informed them that I couldn't make it, they reposted my room as available. I didn't ask for a refund, just move my date. She told me the manager would not speak to me or change my booking, and that they had offered my room for rent because they are allowed to do that. I'm out $698 and they are trying to get paid twice for the same room.

First off the only negative thing was the bed. Hard as a rock. Not comfy and I feel sort of broken. The location is perfect. Only a min from downtown and the place is very very clean. Please consider changing your mattresses though for a better sleep 🤪 your price is very good considering everything else in tobermory

Fantastic fishing in the small cold water streams to the big open water of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Many inland lakes and rivers too! A fishing license is mandatory and available in the Tobermory local stores. Cost seems reasonable and varies due to length, residency, zones etc.
Most fishing in the Tobermory area requires a boat. Local fishing charters are available and leave from Little Tub Harbour. Fish: salmon, whitefish, lake trout, pike and perch.
Ellen and Bud at the Adventure the Bruce Inn will be able to assist you with finding a fishing charter.
Excerpt from "Explore the Bruce"
There’s plenty of fish in the sea – and in our lakes, streams and rivers. Heck, simply casting from a dock can yield a good catch. Okay, no promises but Bruce County on a whole is a favoured fishing destination in Southern Ontario. Why? You can go downrigging in the cool deep waters of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron in summer, and cast from riverbanks into the migratory run in spring and fall. Quiet inland lakes invite spinning, and the revered Saugeen River is “the” place for fly fishing.
Other assets? We’re well equipped with charters, guides, derbies, tackle shops and boat rentals. You can find boat rentals available at Miller Lake Summerhouse Park, Miller’s Family Campground and Landsend Park in Tobermory. What’s more? Well, salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, lake trout, large and small mouth bass, northern pike, perch, pan fish….
Licenses & Fine Print
Fishing licenses (mandatory in Ontario) are available locally and so is the Ministry of Natural Resources Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary, which includes everything the angler needs to know about seasons, possession limits and general fishing regulations. For the on-line version visit the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources website.
