Neda and Nick’s Bed and Breakfast feels like home away from home, and you are spending time with long lost friends. From the moment I called and spoke to Neda in January to enquire about a stay, I knew we immediately clicked. We spoke for about 30min, and we are complete strangers. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to stay in the summer, but I re-booked for my birthday weekend in October.
My husband and I were immediately greeted with warm welcomes from them both. In the entryway, you are met with COVID safety protocols which makes you feel so safe. Nick and Neda along with other guests wore masks in the shared areas. There is also a 24/7 tea/coffee station with an assortment of varieties to please anyone. There is a shared living room area where you can sit, talk, relax, and play games. The decor is warm and inviting. We stayed in the Shiraz room, and I was greeted with “Happy Birthday” decorations in our room along with a chocolate cake and candles. My heart melted. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that we slept like babies the entire weekend and even napped one afternoon. The shower contains a rain shower head, a handheld shower-head, and beautiful floor to ceiling tiles. You don’t have to bring your own towels. The bathroom is equipped with 100% Turkish cotton towels.
Breakfast was a complete luxury. Our seating respected social distancing measures from the other guests. Our first breakfast was avocado toast topped with scramble eggs, a side of fruit, a glass of orange juice, and unlimited tea or coffee. Our second breakfast was Nutella and banana slices on toast, a Persian egg scramble on tomato that is so delicious, a side of fruit, orange juice, and unlimited tea or coffee. It’s the perfect way to start your day just before your hike or cycling.
Their attention to detail is grade A. There is a bakery literally across the street that they told us about. We weren’t sure if they opened on Sunday (the day of our departure) so we could grab some goodies before heading home. We simply mentioned that during one of our conversations with Nick, and he personally messaged the operator of the bakery to enquire for us. This was at night. That simple act shows how much they care to make you happy.
Neda and Nick, thank you for making our mini getaway truly special. It was everything we needed after a very stressful year +.
Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it!

This was my very first time staying at a place beside a large hotel- I’m picky, germaphobic, very particular about everything, who touched what, etc. I didn’t expect myself to feel so peacefully happy & fully satisfied as I am right now. I’m always connected and super happy that wifi was noticeably fast. I’m picky about my bed/bedsheets but the beds were extremely comfortable, bedding was super clean, pillows were much more comfortable than my own at home. Small little things made a huge difference for me. Owners are artists. Wife has a degree in art/film&cinema - husband is a craftsman. The bathroom is new, clean and very unique. Walls are decorated as if you r walking into a little art gallery. You can find so many little cute collectibles in every corner of the garden. Coffee, tea, herbal tea, etc. are always available. Breakfast is included and it’s the combination of the best of eastern & western culture. All natural, from scratch, filling & very healthy. Owners are super fun, engaging & make you feel like you’ve known them all your life. When my introvert 19y/old is engaging in the conversations - something magical must have happened. I call my experience, exceptionally flawless. Thank you Neda & Nick for the pleasant stay.

We don't normally write reviews of places that already have dozens of raves, but we enjoyed the Orange Bicycle so much that we're happy to pen another one. Neda and Nick are wonderful hosts, convivial, helpful, and so interesting. There are only three rooms, each of which is colorful, spacious, and very quiet. (Ours was the Persian-themed Shiraz.) Breakfasts are healthy and feature home-milled flour. The gardens are lovely. Tobermory is the perfect base for exploring the Bruce Peninsula and then heading to Manitoulin Island by ferry. What more can you ask? We've traveled to 98 countries and stayed in literally hundreds of B&Bs; Orange Bicycle was one of the most memorable.

Neda and Nick are wonderful hosts. The Orange Bicycle is a warm, beautiful, and welcoming place to stay, with a blend of artistic beauty and comfort.
Breakfast was healthy and delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Neda and Nick. They had great recommendations, and invited me to a very special local music event and a seasonal craft fair. When they learned that I had been to Tobermory a decade ago, they invited the person who hosted me to join us for breakfast. What a wonderful time!
And, I was happy to help taste test the delicious Persian cookies, nut treats and baklava that Neda was preparing for the seasonal market. This just happened to be very fortuitous timing. It is clear that Neda and Nick love what they do and hosting people from around the globe.
Off season is a quiet and a special time to visit Tobermory. This was a magical experience for me and I hope to return. đź’–

We absolutely loved our two night stay at Orange Bicycle! Nick and Neda were very kind hosts, and it was a pleasure to be in their company. Their attention to detail, and to the well-being of their guests particularly stood out. The entire place was spotless (extra important during COVID), functional, and perfectly located between downtown Tobermory and popular hikes like the Grotto. Breakfast was delicious, and was particularly appreciated given restaurants in Tobermory tend to have limited hours. Would definitely return.

My partner and I stayed at the Orange Bicycle Bed and Breakfast over the Thanksgiving long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The location was very convenient, being right on the highway, only a few minutes away from Tobermory, and an easy drive to many beautiful hiking locations. As well, right across the street is Little Cove Bakery, which makes absolutely amazing butter tarts.
The place itself is quite nice. The room we stayed in was small but had a comfortable queen sized bed and a very nice private, modern bathroom. The common areas were very clean and beautifully decorated. As another reviewer mentioned, we could easily hear other guests in the hallway and room next door; however, everyone staying there was respectful of noise levels so this was overall not an issue. Our room also faced the highway but we couldn't hear any traffic noises at all.
The hosts, Nick and Neda, were very friendly and instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable. They gave us a lot of great advice and recommendations for hiking locations, things to do, and places to eat. As well, they are quite interesting people so we enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them.
Lastly, my personal favourite thing about staying here were the amazing breakfasts that were served every morning. I was expecting them to be some fairly basic breakfasts but no - breakfast included things such as scrambled eggs on avocado toast and baked french toast and breakfast apple crumble in cute little jars, all with a side of fruit, orange juice, and tea/coffee.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend this place to everyone!

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great, we had easy access to hiking trails and points of interest. We loved the decor of the entire house. The room was perfect and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts, fresh and tasty every morning. As it is low season in the area right now, there were only 2 restaurants opened in Tobermory, so our last night, Neda offered to cook us a Persian stew for only $25 per person. It was fantastic! We had a great evening. We felt like we were visiting friends not staying with strangers.

I feel so blessed to have stayed in The Orange Bicycle Guesthouse. It truly is THE place to stay in your travels to Tobermory! This is the kind of spot that is personable and brings people together!
Neda & Nick are truly amazing hosts, and just incredible human beings. They are very hospitable and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They know all the great spots, and know many of the locals in the neighbourhood. The Orange Bicycle Guesthouse only houses up to 3 parties, so be sure to book well in advance!
Totally worth it!
The Location: A quieter place on the outskirts of Tobermory, so downtown is a 5 minute drive away, and this isn’t a bad thing! Downtown Tobermory (especially during tourist season) tends to get noisy and always busy.
The Room: We stayed in THE SHIRAZ, and the room is very clean (Neda makes sure of this), and the washrooms are very quaint and comfortable. No complaints here!
The Food: We are vegan, and Neda makes an incredible Tofu scramble, and oatmeal! But if you have certain preferences, she accommodates them all! Nick brews an incredible coffee as well, so be sure to partake in all of it!
The Property: Hands down one of the most beautiful properties in Tobermory for your stay. Lush gardens, benches to sit on, a fire pit for the evenings. EV drivers rejoice! There is a place to charge!
The Hosts: You couldn’t ask for better hosts, Neda & Nick are simply the best! They bring the community together here. Orange Bicycle Guesthouse seems to attract some of the most amazing people you’ll ever meet!
We were so blessed and grateful to be here during our stay in Tobermory. Will definitely be coming back!
Thank you Neda & Nick!
Much Love, Daniel & Jerrica
