My partner and I took a small getaway to Tobermory in the winter time to do some hiking, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. Nick and Neda were amazing hosts! They were so warm and welcoming. Their b&b was lovely, sparkling clean, and cozy. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were extremely safe with their COVID precautions and still managed to make us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Definitely stay here if you get the chance!! We will be coming back!!
We stayed here during the Labor Day long weekend and had a wonderful time! Nick (aka Lars Jr.) and Neda (fearless leader of the PC Middle East) took care of our every need! As knowledgeable hosts, their good ideas helped us plan and prepare for almost every day of our travels. It was like having personal concierge service. Even when the power on the peninsula went out, leaving tens of thousands without power, and things started to look quite dim… they brought out a generator which brightened our day! Oh, and the food was so good too. We will definitely be back to visit! Cheers from “S’n’M”.
Neda and Nick’s Bed and Breakfast feels like home away from home, and you are spending time with long lost friends. From the moment I called and spoke to Neda in January to enquire about a stay, I knew we immediately clicked. We spoke for about 30min, and we are complete strangers. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to stay in the summer, but I re-booked for my birthday weekend in October. My husband and I were immediately greeted with warm welcomes from them both. In the entryway, you are met with COVID safety protocols which makes you feel so safe. Nick and Neda along with other guests wore masks in the shared areas. There is also a 24/7 tea/coffee station with an assortment of varieties to please anyone. There is a shared living room area where you can sit, talk, relax, and play games. The decor is warm and inviting. We stayed in the Shiraz room, and I was greeted with “Happy Birthday” decorations in our room along with a chocolate cake and candles. My heart melted. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that we slept like babies the entire weekend and even napped one afternoon. The shower contains a rain shower head, a handheld shower-head, and beautiful floor to ceiling tiles. You don’t have to bring your own towels. The bathroom is equipped with 100% Turkish cotton towels. Breakfast was a complete luxury. Our seating respected social distancing measures from the other guests. Our first breakfast was avocado toast topped with scramble eggs, a side of fruit, a glass of orange juice, and unlimited tea or coffee. Our second breakfast was Nutella and banana slices on toast, a Persian egg scramble on tomato that is so delicious, a side of fruit, orange juice, and unlimited tea or coffee. It’s the perfect way to start your day just before your hike or cycling. Their attention to detail is grade A. There is a bakery literally across the street that they told us about. We weren’t sure if they opened on Sunday (the day of our departure) so we could grab some goodies before heading home. We simply mentioned that during one of our conversations with Nick, and he personally messaged the operator of the bakery to enquire for us. This was at night. That simple act shows how much they care to make you happy. Neda and Nick, thank you for making our mini getaway truly special. It was everything we needed after a very stressful year +. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it!…
Neda and Nick were perfect hosts. Their comfortable B and B felt like home away from home. Especially appreciated were the fridge, microwave and coffee maker for our use. Because of that, we were able to bring our own meals and enjoy them in the dining and common areas. Neda's breakfasts were fabulous and she was happy to accommodate our plant based lifestyle. Nick was also kind enough to offer to drive us to the hiking trails, as parking was challenging at times. It was great that they had a level 2 EV charger for guest use, without it, would not have easily made it home with our car. Tobermory is a fabulous destination for hiking and scuba. The bright fall colours made the trip that much better. I highly recommend a stay at Orange Bicycle guesthouse.
