If you are looking for a truly remote wilderness BC experience, then Hyland Creek B&B is just the place for you! The drive through the Stikine River Grand Canyon is absolutely stunning and takes you through the old mining town of Telegraph Creek, where the buildings from 1800 still stand. The hosts Neoma and Russ are warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabins are decorated beautifully and has all the ammenities you need. The outdoor shower in the Alkali lake cabin is perfect and the outhouse has the best views of an outhouse in the whole of BC! During my stay, i enjoyed eggs from the farm's chickens, freshly made cinnamon buns and even got to taste a moose soup made by the Neoma. The property also has its own hiking trail to a viewpoint of the valley, which is perfect for a sunset setting. I can only give my highest recommendations of booking your next city escape, wilderness experience, quietness retreat at the Hyland B&B.…
A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in the beginning of Aug. The owners are very nice, helpful and welcoming. It's a lovely place, the cabin was VERY clean and had everything we would need in it. i Defiantly plan on going back. 4 days isn't long enough there if you like the outdoors and nature. and the coffee was really good! like really good.
We dropped in without a reservation on a spur of the moment road trip. We were welcomed with opened arms. Had a great stay! It is a beautiful location and a beautiful cabin. The breakfast was yummy! Lovely place and lovely family.
I’ve stayed here for work multiple times during all seasons over the years and I’m always greeted warmly like an old family friend. The BnB is cozy, clean and comes with all the amenities one requires.
Fantastic hospitality in a spectacular one of a kind location! The cabins are comfortable, cozy in the winter, and well equipped, and the hosts are generous, resourceful, and very welcoming. I highly recommend a stay at Hyland Creek.
Stayed for one night in this beautiful, new, cozy cabin. Place was immaculate and the people were super friendly. The breakfast was simple and delicious. Highly recommended, hope I get back there soon!
Our business deals with Hyland Creek B and B for lodging, sharing travelers and guests (due to our vast area and being two of a limited number of accommodations in our area). We always love to refer our guests to stay at these wonderful accommodations! The reviews speak for themselves and we wanted to make note of the host/hostess as well as they are very easy to deal with, very fair on a business level and personal level, and are always accommodating to unique needs that arise due to the remoteness of our area up here! We have thoroughly enjoyed our business relationship and thank you for being a wonderful company, for having such nice accommodations to send people to, and for being honest business partners! Cheers to a wonderful 2019/2020 season!
The cabins are clean and convenient with a nice view of the valley. The food for two breakfasts was amazing considering we were unreserved - fresh strawberries and lots of eggs. Hiking to the overlook gives a better sense of the impact of the forest fire. Neoma was very accommodating to our needs and helped us see many thing about Telegraph Creek.
Amazing !! The views, the meals, the hostess and host. Loved it all ! The trip in was a little nerve wracking but it is so well worth it. We will be back. Anyone looking for an adventure, this is the place to go.
We were a party of 6 that were jetboated up the Stikine River, and we spent two nights at Hyland Creek with Neoma and Russell before we launched on our 160 mile river trip. This little hideaway gem in the middle of nowhere, in our opinion, with outstanding views exceeded our expectations. Four in our party stayed in the cabin and my husband and I stayed in the glamping tent with a very comfortable queen bed. It was charming and very romantic with twinkle lighting. The cabin was incredibly well-stocked with all amenities and very comfortable and cozy. There isn't anything that this couple had not thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Neoma is a phenomenal cook! Loved her breakfasts. Most everything is grown right on property. Neoma and Russell also transported us to and from the river with our gear in tow, something that we could not have done without having a truck. When visiting Telegraph Creek, please stay with at Hyland B&B. Highly recommended!!…
