We spend 1 night here to climb Adam's Peak. Clean and large bedrooms and hot shower. Breakfast was simple but very delicious. Lunch and dinner were also very delicious and very cheap. Staff was very very friendly!

Nice guesthouse, great location for walking Adams Peak (although technically furthest away from start point). Rooms are fine, showers are electric so there is always hot water. No complaints - one night here is enough.

Can't say we aren't happy with what slightly chilled offers: slick and clean room/ great dinner/ lovely staff However.. 70 dollars per night! Knock 20 off that and you are pushing the upper bound of what is acceptable.. (we know other guests paid 50$ on the same night) Compared to other accommodation this is certainly got more quality.. but it...

The hotel is located close to the start of the path that leads up to Sri Pada (Adam's peak). The location is excellent with very nice views of the Sri Pada peak. However, the hotel is definately not a 3 star hotel. The room we were given did not have hot water - perhaps the reason it is called the...

Good location to use as base for Adams Peak. Breakfast was delicious and served once I returned from Adams Peak around 8am. Nice to have a hot shower after the hike! The buffet dinner was very good, the best chicken I had in Sri Lanka. Most if not all rooms have a balcony with a good view of Adams Peak....

We loved our stay at Slightly Chilled. We were put in one of the newer rooms at the back which was very spacious & modern. The bed was comfy & there were amazing views of Adams Peak and the river. The food was DELICIOUS. The pancakes at breakfast were so good. The customer service was all spot on and the...

If you need a place to stay the night before hiking Adam's Peak or the surrounding mountains, I would highly recommend this place. The rooms are clean and big, the views from the room of the river in the valley below are nice, and the dinner buffet is diverse and tasty. The staff were also particularly helpful. If I had...

We arrived quite late to the hotel. As this was the only place near Adam's Peak, where you could pay with mastercard, we had to stay there. They only had one room left, I assume the most expensive one (70$ per night with dinner and brekafast). It was pricy, but we can only say good things about the hotel. The...

We spent a night at the slightly chilled guesthouse before climbing Adams peak. Great little budget guesthouse. Lovely people, excellent evening buffet. Rooms were spotless and the best budget accommodation we have experienced in Sri Lanka. If you are doing the climb, they hold breakfast for you till you return. We highly recommend this place.

This is a good place to stay if you are going to climb Adam's Peak. Our room had a balcony with a brilliant view of the mountain. The room was large with a small ensuite bathroom. The shower had plenty of hot water but weak pressure. Everything was very clean. A buffet dinner was served from 6.30pm which was ideal...
