Ideally located for climbing Adams peak. We stayed here two nights: Confortable, clean room with view of valley. Helpful freiendly staff who speak excellent English. Excellent continental breakfast and they do an awesome Sri Lankan evening buffet for 700RS; just what you need the night...More
We stayed in a 4 person room with 2 double beds. The room itself was lovely, with a corner balcony with amazing scenic views with Adams peak visible if not too cloudy. It is a 5 minute walk from the start of the Adams peak...More

I'd recommend Slightly Chilled for the Adam's Peak trek, the price includes dinner on arrival and breakfast after the climb. We thought the food was good for both meals. You can also buy torches for the climb here which was handy and they will let...More

I stayed in Nuwara Eliya to go to Hortons Plains - you want to do this early in the morning as cloud can come in over Worlds End as the day goes on and some of the walking would be pretty exposed in the heat later in the day.
I did this early one morning (5am start), then the next morning I travelled to Slightly Chilled in Dalhousie (as above) and the morning after (2am) I climbed Adams Peak.
The travel between is not large in distance but can still take a while. You might have time to do it the reverse way to me - Adams Peak then travel to somewhere closer to Hortons Plains and do that the following morning...hope that helps a little.
