Very nice hotel under professional management of two ladies. We were able to choose our room. The pool is big enough to swim properly. The hotel management helps with all questions and also organizes tours to the 4000 islands, the Bolaven plateau or the really interesting Wat Phou near Champasak. We had rented a car and therefore only used the shuttle to the airport, but our roommates were super happy with the trips. In the evening, the hotel offers a shuttle for free to the center, as the hotel is about 2 km from the center (but the pool is larger). However, a large supermarket and a really good restaurant (Dao Lin) are a few 100 m away and are within walking distance. If the shuttle is too early at 9.15 p.m., simply take the tuktuk back for small money.

The hotel is charming, the staff is very friendly.
The room is spacious and with good bedding. My only disappointment is that it is dark, especially if you put on the air conditioning, without decoration and there is no kettle for early risers.
If you can pay on a booking site in advance it's better because the rate on site is really not advantageous.
But for 40th a night, the hotel is OK but be careful a little out of the city center.

Pakse as a place is usually only used for transit, or as a base to make excursions in the area. Le Jardin is located just outside the centre, but offers a free shuttle to the city in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff who are available to help with booking activities, whether it be day trips, renting scooters or tips to eat. Rooms are simply furnished and very clean. I really liked it.

We booked Le Jardin hotel in Pakse because the photos and the reviews were good, although there weren't many photos of the room and bathroom. It turned out there was almost no daylight in the room, the unique window opens to a wall!
The room was clean but by no means corresponds to a 4 Star hotel: TV doesn't work, no hair dryer, bathroom looks 😞, no shower gel in the bottle, the fan on the ceiling doesn't work, a worm in the shower!
The breakfast is basic continental, with only one tiny jam jar for two, you have to ask if you wish for one more.
The orange juice (1 glass) was good. This corresponds by no means to a four star hotel as listed on the various reservation platforms.
Positive aspects are the staff, the manager is very kind and friendly, the shuttle to the city center at 7:00 pm and back at 9:00 pm.
The outside of the hotel looks nice on the pictures, as well as the pool, unfortunately you don't sleep in the corridor or in the pool, do you?
The location is 3 Kms away from the centre of Pakse.

Would not return. Rooms felt unpleasant but mainly inconvenient location. We had asked about dinner and were informed until 2130. Turned out they provide transport into the city center until that time. As we only arrived at about 2000 it was a rush for us. No time to shower. Then they dropped us at a tiny bright hole in the wall restaurant. Food might have been great, but it was not what we were looking for that particular night. We then found Pakse Hotel roof top terrace. Enjoyed our meal and wished we'd stayed here (i did on a later occasion)

Hotel with pool (which is rare in Pakse) the staff was kind to us! The manager speaks very good English!! The accommodation is good and everything worked well. Breakfast very good - on the other hand it is off-center from the city center, so you have to think about the possible surplus with tuktuk or taxi/vtc (but the hotel offers a free shuttle in the evening to the city center)

Hotel was clean and in fact had two people hand scrubbing the entry floor while I was there. The rooms are basic, large and a bit dark as there isn't a window except for one in the back that has shutters closed over them. There is an opaque skylight over the door that does allow some light in and you can leave your door open for extra light as there is a screen door, but with the Laos heat that rather defeats the AC. My TV was a little flaky and they fixed it once, not a big deal as I wasn't there to watch TV though do like to be able to tune in from time to time.

The breakfast was simple and limited with eggs made to order, a small side salad, some white bread, jam, coffee, tea, and and a little fruit (bananas and watermelon).

There is a free shuttle offered to take people into town at 7:00pm each night so they can go to one of the restaurants there for dinner.

There is a large supermarket (Friendship) a short walk from the hotel. Take a right out o the hotel, turn left when the street ends and about 200 meters down across the street you will see it, so if you want to pick up some food there it is available. Looked to be a couple places to eat on that strip as well.

Staff is super friendly and helpful.

All and all a decent place.

Pakse is a large city that serves as a staging post for most travellers in southern Laos. As such the city is mainly a sprawling ribbon development with no great attractions other than its location.
Le Jardin is a reasonably priced hotel that is used as a stopover by travellers.
It’s principal attractions are the pool in the garden and the incredible staff service.
The rooms are well furnished and maintained, breakfast is freshly cooked and WiFi is good throughout.
Every evening the hotel minibus ferries guests who don’t want to eat locally to the downtown restaurant area. The free service leaves the hotel at 7 and returns at 9.

We booked a room (in September 2023) for the 25th January 2024 through booking.com for $45. They cancelled our room and are showing ‘sold out’ on booking.com

Rooms are available to book on their own website for $70. We are having to change plans mid holiday. Very odd behaviour from this hotel.

We found this hotel to be very delightful with a very warm & helpful staff. Ms. Noi, the hotel owner, was very nice and very accommodating, providing transportation to downtown when we needed it. The breakfast was fairly basic, but very filling and good. The rooms are nice. The hotel is small and warm. Has a colonial charm. Very peaceful. The hotel felt like home!
