My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving before 2PM by the reserved hotel van from PKZ Airport. In the grand marble lobby, a welcoming receptionist copied our passports, presented our key card, and we took the elevator to the 5th floor’s wide marble hallway. Superior riverview king #505 was spacious, tile floored & clean; fully outfitted bathroom with tub shower(quick hot water), closet, minibar/hotpot/coffee/water, a comfortable king across a small TV(1 French & 12 Asian channels), bench & shelf desk, table & 2 reading chairs, adequate lighting & secure wifi, 3 outlets, central AC with wall control and opening windows to the 5* Mekong sunset. The 6AM breakfast buffet was mostly Asian with a noodle bar, steamed & fried rice, fried noodles with vegetables, baked chicken, an egg station, and also fruit juice/fresh fruits/yoghurt, children's cereals, cheese/ham, breads/jams & 2 coffee machines. We swam in the large clean pool with nice towels and I used the adjoining 7 station gym. This prominent 2010 hotel is next to the large Friendship supermarket and 2 blocks from the sprawling Pakse Market.

Pleasant hotel little dated, shower over tall bath in small bathroom. Excellent staff, good breakfast with egg station, the big problem is dinner, there is a very nice large restaurant, separate from the hotel alongside the Mekong River which produces eatable food, however it also produces evening entertainment in the form of an incredibly amplified band, even ordering food is difficult, due to this excessive noise we found in necessary to eat in our room, which was on the 8th floor and we could still hear the bands rendition, to add to this disappointment hot food arrived with just a plastic wrapping covering so it was almost cold. If you are having a full day out and wish an easy pleasant evening meal within the confines of your hotel, this place will disappoint.

Chic hotel, good room 914 with a view of the Mekong and the bridge. Room furnishings meet American standards. Not outstanding, but clean and spacious.
The restaurant/terrace with a view of the Mekong is also highly recommended for eating with live music, but look for a table as far away from the loudspeakers as possible. In Laos (and also in Cambodia) the volume is unfortunately handled too generously. This is probably typical of the country, but for a European it takes some getting used to.
It is probably the first hotel in the area.

This hotel is in need of a little TLC which is currently taking place but all the important stuff is there. Soft comfy bed, good aircon, good shower and plenty of hot water. Great views of the river and bridge. Great pool and breakfast in a lovely indoor restaurant. The evening restaurant has fantastic views over the river and a good selection of local and international dishes. The building itself and lobby is very impressive and is immediately visible when entering Pakse. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and attentive, particularly the girls on reception who were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and it was our favourite hotel in Laos yet very competitively priced.

I booked my wife and her daughter and her brother & family in for xmas eve in 2 x 1 bed exec rooms, I was unable to be there due to work commitments overseas, My wife said the staff were very polite, attentive, and made her feel very comfortable with the understanding that she had never stayed in a VIP room in a hotel, The ladies loved the spa bath. The rooms were very clean and well appointed with bathroom amenities. They were well pleased with the breakfast in their rooms and the service they recieved. They had a seafood dinner in the restaurant and again said it was perfect and very delicious. The only very slight negative was for the number in her room ( 3 ) she felt the fridge could have been more sustantially stocked. I will definately be booking my stay there on my arrival in Pakse soon.

We stayed here for 9 nights and the staff was always very friendly. Sometimes we had issues with the reception because they didn’t speak a proper English.
Also we had an issue with the air conditioning one evening water was running from the ceiling - it tooked to 2 hours to repair it and we didn’t get any sorry.
The rooms are quite old but the beds are comfortable. The pool water was quite dirty and felt not very clean… overall there is a lot place for improvements.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle bus service to drop us to the airport, which was a great service. GYM Facilities were good. The Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd floor offered great food with big serves at a reasonable price. We had the view of Mekong River and the Japanese bridge. The Hotel arranged a VAN and a driver to take us to the Golden Buddha Mountain.

We got to Pakse and stay at Champasak Grand Hotel in three of 1 bedroom suite from 11/22/2023 to 11/25/2023. This was my worst experiences that I ever had since I had travel to Laos for the fifth time. The facilities are ok, but the services were horrible. We got kicked out from our dinning table on our first night dinner because there were hotel VIP guests had their table next to us. They just came up to us and demanded us to move to other end of the restaurant because the territory had been occupied by their VIP, no one can't sitting close to them. I was shocked and disappointed, how this sh...t happen in the 21st century. I felt like I had been living in the animal society that one individual pissed on grass to mark their territory so no one get close to their boundary. Please, if someone is thinking of traveling to Pakse and stay there, you should not have any conflict with these people, It may become a life threaten. For your own safety, please consider to stay somewhere else.
It could be our bad luck of the November month, next morning we were enjoyed our breakfast and chit_chat talking about what had happened to us on the past evening. Certainly on my last bite of the stir fry vegetable plate, please see the picture below what it was. I believed, for them to prove that was the real organic vegetable they have to include that worm. Please try to avoid not to stay there if you are planning to travel to Pake, laos.

Starting to loose its grandness but still a solid stay. Breakfast and beds were awesome, check in good, hot water reliability was an issue and the pool was dirty and when we got here was placed under repair. However, the overall stay was good and the location is central and near the Nippon Bridge which is a nice walk.

Champasak Grand Hotel is great value to enjoy its friendly front desk, room service and 4 star facilities both in room and within the hotel. It is a real germ. Luon, the trainee and Mr Songxln are so helpful to help plan my travel in south Laos. The river view is so impressive and so delightful to admire the sunset and sunrise at our leisure. The hotel is a special treat in Pakse. I sure will stay again if I come to Pakse again.
