Small, nice hostel, on a human scale, very clean. The towel is even included in the price.
Hair dryer, cotton swab and a small haberdashery are available to travelers.
Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom.

The staff is very friendly and offers excursions, a transport service, laundry…
Very good little restaurant and French breakfast with baguette in the morning!

Water is free, bananas too and a scoop of ice cream is offered per day!

I recommend !

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. They completely understand what travellers want and provide it all, with a smile and absolute wealth of information and help along with it.
Super comfy, clean dorm beds with plenty of privacy, plugs shelves and towel hangers in the right place, good showers, great food, reliable WiFi and can’t do enough to help you plan onward travel, book bus tickets or sort scooter hire. Absolutely superb!! Dont even think about staying anywhere else in Pakse!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as we heard great reviews and sagna hostel really did exceed my already high expectations! The lady who owns the hostel is honestly the nicest person ever, she really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and help us in any way possible. She even packed us a little takeaway bag for the bus to our next destination as we didn't have time to get breakfast in the morning. Every evening there's free freshly baked banana bread and watermelon. There is also free bananas and water to fill your bottle up. The hostel has large comfortable clean beds and even though we were in a dorm room the individual curtains gave us privacy. The showers are amazing with hot water and there is a nice restaurant downstairs with good food. All the staff are so so nice and friendly there. Would highly recommend this hostel for your stay in Pakse.

I wantes to stay for one night only but this place is so excellent I stayed for 3. The stuff is the most helpful I came across Asia - 24/7 willing to solve whatever problem or need you have. They have great prices on trips and rentals!
You get tea, water and bananas for free there.
They have great kitchen.

The dorms are designed for eusropeans - meaning a lot of space (very high beds!), privacy and extremely clean.

The beds are being made every day. You can have your towels changed everyday as well. Bathrooms are cleaner every few hours.

Loved it!

We loved our stay at Sanga Hostel. This is a clean, modern hostel with decent shared bathrooms on each floor. While the ground floor seating area is basically the restaurant/dining area, I still saw plenty of people socialising together. I also liked that they would donate any unwanted clothes to nearby villages. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend

easily the nicest hostel in laos! the rooms were super clean and the beds were just so lush. there's is a little resturant downstairs where you can order some amazing food (I recommend the fruit salad with muesli and yogurt + the yellow coconut curry 🤤) or you can just hang out. the staff were so so lovely and accommodating. there's a special place in my heart for luang, who is the manager there, she is the sweetest lady ever and was always ready to help us out any time of the day with whatever we needed and was also always down for a little chat. didn't want to leave pakse simply because i loved this place so much. can't recommend enough!

This hostel was everything you could ask for. It’s kept sparkling clean, they serve delicious food, the air con is kept lovely and cold, the beds are SO comfortable! They even have proper duvets which kept you so cosy in the night. And curtains over each bed for your own privacy. The showers were lovely, hot and cold to choose from. The lady on reception was so so helpful, helping us with the loop, providing us with a map and showing us which waterfalls were worth going to and which weren’t. She booked our bus to Thailand and helped us get a motorbike- all in very well spoken English. The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at!

Good location, very clean hostel and new hostel. Big nice beds with power plugs. Had great sleep here. Serves cheap and good breakfast. But what really made this place the 10 that it deserves was the insane amount of extra care the lady from the reception gave. She was so helpful with everything, constantly wanting to make sure everything is alright, helping with side seeing and all silly questions. Also the free banana muffins and watermelon are superb! Booked transport with them was also good

The best hostel I’ve been in, in Laos. The hostel is very clean, smells lovely and the beds are actually very comfortable. Brilliant fanning and aircon for the night because it can get rather hot. And the lady at the front desk is more than helpful, she extended my stay by 4 nights as I was waiting to be granted my Vietnam visa; she couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. She was excellent for places to go eat, their motorbike and bus service is also fantastic, not to mention…FREE ICECREAM! Who can argue with that!? Really had a fantastic stay here.

One of my favourite hostels I’ve stayed at. Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely facilities and rooms, and lovely service. Very helpful and easy to talk to, very down to earth and even can WhatsApp them for information once left. Would stay here again definitely.
