The hotel is really in a nice location and the views are amazing. The staff is friendly and honest (i left my laptop behind and they brought it for me!) I would stay here for the view and the history, but I would have liked better service. The breakfast was atrocious, but well, you should go out and eat by...

We stayed here for the second time. This is still the perfect base to make some excursions in the surroundings. The restaurant serves the best food in town . But the hotel with the nice rooms , the stairs , terasses, balconies, views, it offers really great value for your money.

Stayed here for one night as a bit of a splurge and also so we can say we've slept in a former palace. The views from the balcony were stunning and the overall decor very grandeur. Room maybe little overpriced for what you would class as a typical hotel room especially as we requested a superior room. Minibar prices surprisingly...

Stayed in VIP room on roof. Great value for $60. Great staff, large private roof-top terrace. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a good position to wander around town, reception was quick and efficient when we booked in and our room was large, clean and had everything you could need for a night or two. Two doors to different corridors and balconies reminded us of an old Rana palace in India and had lovely views over the countryside....

Ok, if you look for modern, new, standardized Hilton or Holiday Inn no thrills good night sleep, don't choose this Hotel. If you look for a unique, imposant Hotel with style and history and can accept a little adventure like bad noise insulation, you will love this place. Its not for always, but for once a place like this just...

In this original and grand hotel my staying was short, just for a weekend. It is a good choice for big groups but not for a solo traveller or a family. My room was large with aircon, fridge,tv and a bathroom very clean. In front of my room I had a big terrace, another one, with an interesting house of spirits was next...

Nice bathroom with seperate shower and bath. Basic toiletries and water pressure adequate. B'fast either adequate but not lavish buffet or set menu choice of ABF, continental...

Not my kind of hotel. Although it has a majestic look from the outside, the rooms although very spacious are in need of renovation. We stayed only 1 night, the hotel was busy so we couldn't get any rooms close to each other. In the evening we could enjoy some free karaoke all the way up in our room. Breakfast...

My husband and I stayed here one night and wished we had stayed longer. We had the room with the king bed. Supposedly there is only one king room at the hotel, and it is supposed to be the biggest one in the complex. It was definitely the biggest room I have ever stayed in: the sitting room was bigger...
