We stayed in the Refugio and found the staff to be great and the food to be fine. Best part was arriving in the afternoon, buying a beer, and sitting on the porch soaking up the sun. Of course the bathrooms became less and less appealing as the day/evening went on, sort of what you expect when literally hundreds of...

This was my least favorite refugio by far. We had late breakfast made even later due to incompetent staff. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were gross. Still better than camping though! All the other refugios on the W trek were great!

I am not a complainer. I have no need for comfort and pampering, nor am I a prima donna. BUT, Refugio Los Cuernos fully deserves the negative review I am about to give. I stayed here in January of 2016. It was a very windy and wet day so I am grateful for the warm bed provided for $55 USD...

Great camp site with great facilities, situated by the lake hence a very good view. Camp site allows you to set up your tents on wooden set up planks - HOW LUXURIOUS IS THAT? Facilities: Shower, Indoor cooking area, Minimart, Restaurant, By the lake, Paid Wifi MUST book online before you go, do not risk

We hired tents, sleeping bags and mats at four different campsites in Torres del Paine and also purchased breakfast lunch and dinner at the refugios. The day we arrived at this site, it had been raining constantly. Our experience here may have been much better if it hadn't been so wet. When we arrived, the camping rental/check in area was...

My partner and I stayed at the Refugio Cuernos on Christmas day - a day I'd rather forget due to the huge unseasonable snowstorm that nearly destroyed our entire trip. We originally planned to camp here. The campsite was 7000CP p/p (note it is per person rather than per tent) - they give you a sticker to put on your...

We stayed inside the Refugio for one night, coming from El Chileno. I preferred Refugio Los Cuernos to El Chileno, mainly because the bedrooms were brighter and more comfortable. The bunks are lower and have rails on the upper bunks, so you don't feel in danger of falling out - I definitely slept better this night! One of the bathroom...

We stayed in a "dome" dorm room and ate in the refugio building. The campsite shower blocks were new, but the ladies showers did not drain and had 3cm of dirty water in the bottom of the tray. By the time we left there was not a single ladies toilet in the campsite or refugio that was not blocked and...

We stayed in the Cabins Los Cuernos. The cabin was adorable, had amazing views, and was very clean and well equipped. The staff was a different story. They were very rude when we accidentally walked in with our ruck sacks, sent us out to drop them off, and then did not enforce the same rule with the next couple of...

Spent one night indoors in November. The refugio is located next to a beautiful lake and was quite scenic. There was a good porch for sitting, although it was always pretty crowded. There were 3-level bunk beds (fortunately I didn’t get stuck on the 3rd level this time) and the bedrooms were a bit crowded, but also clean and warm....
