The Estancia Cerro Guido is in a tiny isolated town with approximately 50 residents who have their selected skills/trade to keep everything running. On arriving reception, we had a little wait to find someone to check us in, but on checking in we were taken to our room and then told that we could have a tour of the grounds...

Thanks a lot for your comments. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay with us and the surrounding nature although I must inform you that we have quiet good news for our new Season 2017-2018 beginning the 1st of October 2017. A new electric generator will be implemented, which will allow electricity to be available 24 hours a day...

My Husband and I were almost going to leave this out of our trip as its a distance to travel enroute to hiking areas however the scenery travelling to the Estanzia and the actual property were worth the effort. We had a funny experience with meals however and urge you to consider ensuring you have your own snacks perhaps. We...

Thank you very much for your comments ... we will take into consideration your suggestions regarding the meals, which without a doubt we must take into account. I do not know what happened that day, but I can tell you that we have opening and closing times of the restaurant kitchen for a staff shifts theme. However, it is very...

When we first pulled up to Estancia Cerro Guido, we weren't quite sure where to check in - not even excited about our stay - until we checked in. Charming hostess showed us the property, chef was a character we both connected with (funny, well-traveled and all around master of conversation), new staff couldn't be more attentive....and then the 7...

We were warmly welcomed by Ana Maria, who showed us around the beautiful estancia. It really is situated in the middle of nowhere, but that's what makes it so charming I guess. Our room was very big, calm and tastefully decorated. Dinner next to the fireplace overlooking the "Patagonian desert" was lovely and delicious. Ana Maria was a touching and...

Stayed over xmas. Nice rooms, friendly but the whole experience lacked the details you would expect for this rice range. We stumbled across the sitting room and the tea making facilities, even though it was cold no one lit the fires in the dinning room on xmas eve, about three room said they wanted breakfast at 8am but it was...

We struggled to find somewhere to stay in the Torres Del Paine, but we found here and so pleased that we did. Although it's outside of the park, everywhere is a drive here, but at Cerro Guido, you are away from the hustle and bustle of the park. This is a real high quality hotel in a gorgeous landscape and...

The location is perfect for Torres del Paine National Park. The view from the dining room is spectacular. You get the real Feeling of staying at a typical Patagonian Estancia (they have 70,000 sheep and 10,000 cattle and you can spot the gauchos at work). Ana Maria is a perfect host and makes you feel at home. We stayed at...

We traveled from Hosteria Pehoe to the Estancia and we thought we ended up in a very strange place. We met some wonderful people, Anna Maria, Philip from Brasil and a very nice girl from Suisse. The room we got was very good, the first night the electricity went out at 22:00, romantic. The breakfast and dining room was nice...

The estancia is a bit further away but has beautiful views. I found it interesting to stay at an estancia and get to know about their life and work there. We received a warm welcome and a little tour of the farm. The rooms are in an old and charming house with an inviting living room. They are a bit...

Coming back tired from a day long hike to a home cooked meal and a comfortable bed, what more can you ask for? This is what Cerro Guido offers. The chef has been there for years and cooks the most delicious and heart warming meals. She's a sweet woman who makes sure you're fed. The rooms are simple but with...

“The rooms are all spacious and cosy, and as far as I saw, non of them have a view to the park (the restaurant does!). there are 5 rooms are in the admin building, and 10 in the big house. if you have difficulties moving around (or are carrying a small child) ask for a room in the admin building, as it is much closer to the restaurant.”
