It was a nice relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Ecorce cabin and it was enough for two adult and a husky. The cabin is equipped with all that we need to stay comfortably, kitchen utensils, campfire wood and we are able to collect more small sticks to start the fire just from the woods around us. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

We had a really nice day trip at Chalets Lanaudière: we did snowshoeing, skiing, sliding and skating during one day. They have beautiful nature with many activities. All the equipment was included in the package price and the selection was great and of good condition. The staff was very kind and professional.

This was our second stay here as a family of 4. Last year we rented a chalet (St. Hubert) for 4 days. This year we rented a cabin (Cime) for 6 days. They don't have a site map on their website so we didn't know exactly where the cabin was situated on their site beforehand. We weren't thrilled about walking so far (5 minute walk) up a gravelly road and rather steep hill with their trolley system (cars are not allowed on the road to the cabins/yurts, the chalets have doorfront parking so this isn't an issue) to lug all of our food/belongings (for a family of 4 for 6 days) to our cabin ESPECIALLY because the maintenance vehicles are allowed to drive on that same road. This is something to consider especially if you have health or mobility issues. The cabins don't have bathrooms (as opposed to the chalets which do) so despite this being our second time on the site it was our first time showering in the sanitary block - the showers were thankfully clean BUT there is no way to adjust the water temperature (really very very hot) which was disappointing. The cabins don't have running water, you're provided with water coolers and 5 gallon jugs (which were replenished during our stay, the maintenance people showed up unannounced and carried them right in, which was quite awkward) so dish washing is far from pleasant after the novelty of the first time or two wears off. The BBQ area is outside, around the cabin down 2 flights of stairs - it would be so much more convenient if there was a pulley system installed from the cabin's kitchen balcony which overlooks it, down to the BBQ area below to send down food, bring up dishes etc. It would also be really nice to have instructions for the toaster oven, we never quite figured it out during our stay! Upon checking in we were happy to hear that there was a new 'sanitary block' (bathroom only) just one minute away from our cabin (as opposed to 5) However, there was an issue with the door - we thought it was locked one night (apparently it wasn't) and we then had the only other option being the 5 minute walk away. The new 'bathroom only' structure does not have a sink with running water for hand washing. It would be a good idea for future improvements to include a sink as well as perhaps a dishwashing station (outdoors even for use only during the summer months if freezing pipes are a concern) for the cabins/yurts to use. Due in part to a rainy day, we were running out of clean clothes so we used the washer & dryer available for use in the main sanitary block and while we were grateful for it, the water pressure was nearly non-existent (I timed it at 28 minutes to fill up for the rinse cycle) so plan to spend several hours sitting around if you need to wash/dry a load of laundry. Be aware that you need to bring your own garbage and recycling to bins located well away from any of the buildings (same for chalets) which is fine, but we were disappointed to see compost bins at the garbage site despite the fact that there were no dedicated bins to use for compost collection AT the cabin - the intention is good but in practice, the way they have things set up is impractical. The site is very quiet, and we got good advice on the walking trails from the front desk staff. I would recommend this site for a short stay; we found the downsides tedious after a few days.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your comments that are always analyzed seriously in order to improve our customer experience. Already, following your comments, some adjustments have been made. Regarding the map on our website, it is located on the homepage to the right (see the "MAP" section). To allow for an experience of communion with nature, all guests staying in yurts and cabins must walk a few minutes using our carts (or sleds in winter). This ensures more tranquility in the hamlet where the yurts and cabins are located. For people with mobility or health problems, our staff is always happy to offer them van transportation. Cabins like the Cime offers a "glamping" experience (glamour + camping), which is why the amenities are not the same as in our cottages. We are sorry if our employee came to bring you a new 5-gallon container of water at an inconvenient time, usually we ask customer when it would suit them better. For the water temperature of the shower, we will adjust it. About the pulley system for taking down the BBQ accessories, we had already thought of it, but we were afraid of accidents. That's why we instead built a new exterior staircase in 2018 that leads to the second floor of the cabin, which is safer in our opinion. The instructions for the toaster oven was in the briefcase in the cabin. You could also have come to the reception and our staff would have been happy to help you. About the small sanitory block, it is open 24/7 and just this past October we added a sink that can be used for washing hands or to do your dishes. We do offer free of charge washer and dryer to our guests. If the washer took so long to fill with water it was probably because there was a great demand for water at the same time. In this case, the showers are prioritized. Despite your worries during your stay, we hope you enjoyed your experience and wish to see you again. Best regards!

We booked this cabin in September of 2018 for a New Years getaway. We stayed from December 30th-January 1st. We arrived at 2:30pm (check-in is at 4) and we were informed right away that our cabin was ready and we could check in. The receptionist was very helpful in explaining our accommodations to us and she also provided us with our spa certificate (we booked the "Relaxation Package"). Once we left the reception, we were directed to a shed where there are sleds and trolleys to assist you in carrying your belongings to your cabin. *Note: we had brought our own sled as we did not know this or see this on the website anywhere We then proceeded to a second shed where we picked up our firewood (we had been informed at check-in that there was already firewood at the cabin, however we wanted extra). After this, we were told it was about a 5 minute walk to the cabin - we would say it's even less! Once we arrived, everything was perfect. There were fairy lights hung outside the cabin and a wreath on the door, and a lot of firewood sitting on the porch. The cabin was immaculate inside, with everything we could possibly need. The next morning we left for La Source Bains Nordique (15 min drive), which was also absolutely beautiful. Thanks to Chalets Lanaudiere, our reservation had already been made and we simply needed to provide our certificate that we had received at check in. We spent the entire day at the spa, including lunch in the bistro which was fabulous. After returning to our cabin around 5pm, we prepared dinner and spent New Years Eve relaxing. The next day, check out was at 1pm therefore we spent the morning outside exploring. Upon check out, we were informed that we were still able to access all of the amenities that they had to offer for the entire day (skating, snowshoeing, tubing) if we wanted to. All around an absolutely wonderful trip. We would highly recommend both the Racines cabin as well as the facility as a whole.

Booked Oct. 24-25 in a chalet. The air is so pure, slept like a baby. Beautiful environment in the woods, peace and tranquility. Chalet was spotless with all necessary amenities. No internet in chalet, no TV but DVD to watch movies. Bring a book or go off walking on a trail. Thoroughly enjoyed my get away. And Oh! By the way, my Lab was a happy camper!

I rented a Cabins ( Le Riverain) for 2 nights my wife and I last week. It was our first time at Chalets Lanaudière. It was situated few yards from the Morgan lake. Perfectly situated, the cabins was for 5 people fully furnished and all the commodities you need except TV only for films viewing, no channels available. You can get free film at the reception building. We where like in between seasons but they have during summer or winter a varieties of great activities to do. Hiking, kayak, canoe, snow shoes, dog slade etc. Check the web site for the size of cabin you need( They have 32 cabins to choose from) and the list of activities. Well manage, clean, lots to do and see around. I recommend to anyone that love being in the nature.

Went to Chalets Lanaudière after finding this pearl online! (One night stay in August) For your information, not only do they have chalets but also beautiful cabins and yurts. We stayed in the cabin called: "Racines" it was absolutely stunning. It was more of a beautiful tiny house than what we would call a cabin. Once arrived everything was such a breeze, the cabins come with all you need including bedding, some game boards, a mini fridge and everything you need to make a wonderful breakfast/lunch/dinner! They even offer a list on their website of everything in the cabin. Included with the cabin you get access to all the water sports (canoes, kayaks and pedal boats) both at the beach which is right at the entrance and at Lac Morgan which is around 3 or 4km away but is absolutely beautiful! Being on foot it was a little bit far, but there are many trails by forest that will take you to Lac Morgan! Bring BUG SPRAY for sure. Another thing that's included which they explain very well upon arrival is fire wood and a chariot to bring it to your site. So really everything is included in your stay! We will most definitely be returning! Positive: + | beauty of the cabin + | ease because everything is included + | variety of water sports and beauty and cleanliness of the lake Negative: - | the lake is far from certain chalets, yurts and cabins - | you're stay starts at 4pm and ends at 1pm the next day (not even a 24h stay, they are however super nice if the site is ready they give you the keys early. We we're given the keys at 3pm.)

First, thank you for taking the time to write to us. By reading the entire review, I see your great satisfaction of your stay except for some inconvenience regarding a music event that took place on an private property near Chalets Lanaudière . As we mentioned to our customers during this particular weekend , this event , which we learned the existence barely 48 hours before, has led us to take special steps to ensure the well-being of our customers: increased surveillance, discussions with the organizers of the event, etc. Rest assured that we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this event that was beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.

We stayed in Le Phare each cabin has a interesting name, the cabins are new so they are of high standard and an amazing location right next to the Lake Morgan, which anytime of year would be pretty amazing. The cabin we found clean has everything you require is there just like the advertisement advises you only need bring the minimum also found out that a local company does catering, the lady at reception gave directions which were easy enough to follow. Its was a little chilly to go swimming but the fresh air and the lake was so clear was nice, We also went before checking in at the cabin went to La Source Spa which was nice, also in Rawdon on 6th and Queen st there's a Belgium Bakery cheese and breads wonderful quality.

The Chalets Lanaudiere are located on Lac Morgan, just outside the town of Rawdon, Qc. It is approximately 1hr north \ northeast of Montreal in "cottage country". We had no difficulty finding the main complex for check-in (although we would suggest that the dirt road thereafter have some signs assuring you that you need to continue on it to find the chalets, as there are a number of turnoff roads to tempt you, and the road is pretty choppy). Check-in was a breeze, and the main desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a map of the property showing generally where everything was, and were advised that if our chalet seemed to be short on any kitchen items (glasses, pots...) that we should let them know. After a 5-10 minute drive we arrived at our chalet. We were frankly blown away about how new, spacious and nicely appointed it was. There is a screened in porch with a table and chairs for outdoor eating, which we used for virtually every meal. The interior was gorgeous - all new, with high ceilings, plenty of windows (and natural light), a fully stocked modern kitchen with a table and chairs for interior dining, a good size fridge, freezer and pantry to store our food, two couches, flatscreen tv (dvd only), indoor wood burning fireplace, stunning antique coffee table (repurposed, refinished wood & steel warehouse trolly), full modern bathroom and (in our case) two bedrooms (one queen, and, one bunkbed with a double and a single), along with a deck overlooking the lake, with adirondack chairs to take in the view. There is also a firepit outside for campfires \ Smores, and the firewood is supplied. Note that while there is a modern range stove there is no BBQ provided, so we brought a small charcoal hibachi style one for our stay. You cannot have a cottage retreat without BBQing, at least in our view. The beds were comfortable for us, although the pillows supplied are paper thin. Considering that you must bring your own linens, towels and blankets, we simply brought our own pillows as well, and we slept soundly (no doubt the fresh country air helped). Just a short stroll from our chalet were the docks that had the kayaks, canoes & paddleboats. These are available to all guests as included in the lodging fee, and there were always vessels available even on the weekend when more people were there. Lifejackets and paddles / oars are also provided. The lake is easily navigable and can be thoroughly explored. Next to that dock is a dock for swimming, with a ladder to descend into the lake. There is a small "sandy beach" near the check in building, but we never used it. We swam at the dock on the lake, and our chalet had a direct water access down the hill for private swimming anyway. The water was clear, warm and refreshing. In short, the lake (whether by swimming or water vessel) was outstanding, and we spent most of our time in or on it. It should also be noted that the service was excellent. As noted, we were advised to let them know if the chalet lacked adequate glasses, pots etc for our needs. As it happened, there were rather few drinking glasses and no frying pan. Within 20 minutes of calling the front desk, brand new drinking glasses and a brand new frying pan were delivered. Well done. Our evenings on the deck or at the firepit were quiet and relaxing, as other guests in other chalets were generally considerate of others, and everyone obeyed the 11pm noise curfew, which is a good idea, albeit there was no rowdiness before 11pm anyway during our stay. This was an excellent retreat for us and we thoroughly enjoyed "getting away from it all", especially in such superb, modern accommodations. As would be expected, there is no wifi provided, but be aware that getting a signal for internet on your smartphone was basically slim to none as well. That was fine for us as this was meant to be an email \ internet free holiday. However, it was inconvenient to discover that there is weak \ unreliable cellphone signal \ service at the chalet, and it was hard for friends coming up for the day to reach us. However, the chalet is provided with a landline telephone. Just be aware that cellphone service of any kind is sketchy at best. We stayed for 4 nights at a promotional rate, which made this chalet an even more excellent value. To be frank, considering what amenities are offered and the outstanding experience we had, the regular rate would have been an excellent value anyway. We would very highly, and unequivocally, recommend Chalets Lanaudiere to others. We will absolutely return. If you thought that this review was thorough and helpful, please click "Yes, Helpful" below. We rely on Tripadvisor for frank, honest advice before trying new hotels, restaurants and attractions, and we leave feedback for others :)
