It's the greatest place for a relaxing well rested vacation. Everything is just so perfect. Cottages are fully equipped, with a beautiful view from your deck to watch the sunset and to sit and have a relaxing day or night. With charter boats available for a salmon and trout charters. The bonfires were a nightly highlight of our stay with the host Jeff sitting around the fire listening to all the island stories. This place is truly at the end of the world. Just a beautiful place. While there we also enjoyed our day trips around the island checking out the so many other views. Can't wait to get back there! Be sure to fill up with gas, groceries and beer in Gore Bay before you get there. Thanks again Jeff! Dave and Lorraine, Gravenhurst Ontario
Beautiful location, Terrific staff! Thanks Jeff and Harley!!! Protected harbor. We fished the bay as well as the 1/2 hr boat ride to the straights. We were there with some friends as well as our kids. We will make it a point to be regular visitors to this amazing place!!! Highly recommend this experience.
We had a great time at White Sea Resort! The location, with its beautiful view on the lake, was a perfect place to relax and to discover the Island from. The cottage was of good quality and the owners were very nice and helpful. Every evening there was a campfire which we really enjoyed. All in all, a great place to visit!
We just spent 4 days at the White Sea Resort. We had a 2 bedroom cabin that was right on the water with beautiful views of the harbour and nice sunsets. The cabins have 2 beds in each room - a double and a single. They are not luxury accommodations but they were very adequate. We BBQed every night and enjoyed the camp fires. Our hosts, Brandon and Harley were excellent! They bent over backwards to make us feel at home and anything we asked for they were happy to provide for us. There were kayaks, bikes and a paddle boat available. We didn't do any fishing but it is a excellent spot for it. They have their own harbour for boats plus they do charters. We did the did the Cup & Saucer hike. Well worth the effort, the view at the end is absolutely breathtaking! If you are up to it, the Adventure Trail is a fun and exciting side trail. We also swam at Bridal Falls, water was a little chilly but it was fun. You can also swim at White Sea. They do not have a beach but there is an area with flat rocks that you can walk into the water. Again it was a bit too chilly for us, so we sat on the deck beside the swimming area with a couple of cocktails and just enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet.…
White Sea Resort is a beautiful palce to spend some time. There is an excellent little harbour, with great open water fishing right out in beautiful Meldrum Bay, or in the nearby Missasagi Straights. The cabins are comfortable and clean, with bicycles available to ride. There is a easy boat launch and also boats to charter for fishing or tours. You are near the end of the road, so take what you need.
