The hotel was very nice. Food was great at the in-hotel restaurant, and a breakfast buffet was available at extra cost. It is quite central- a quick walk to the main attractions of the area. The rooms are not very insulated, temperatures at night and early mornings were quite cold, mattresses are very hard, duvets are not available either because...

The hotel an the interior is very old. Only thing new about this hotel were the bathrooms, because they were renovated. Hotel room is very old, also the beds and the furniture is old. Cleaning as ok, as it was absolutely very clean everywere.

Old-fashioned grand hotel where the lobby is the most interesting place to be - have your glass of wine or coffee there while enjoying the atmosphere of an era gone by or while being on the internet (no wifi in rooms). Beds very uncomfortable (hard). Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

The Hotel has a huge potential, but it is wasted. The quality of the beds, the insulation and the sound proofing are huge negative. The prices in the restaurant are way higher than they used to be just a year ago, even though the quality and the quantity decreased. Regarding the quantities: be warned, you'll leave still hungry. It's a...

I liked this hotel... It was very grand, clearly steep in history. The stay didn't start too well when I got into my room and there was no bed! I went back down to the reception and told them, the young lady said see would have to look at my room and verify there was no bed.. No problem, a...

It must have been a wonderful hotel in its heyday, but not now. The grandeur of the public rooms does not carry through to the bedrooms that are strangely furnished with hideous modern furniture that clearly doesn't take the knocks. The walls are paper thin and the decor tired. From our bedroom balcony we enjoyed a good view of the...

This was probably a great hotel 50 years ago and still retains its opulence in the reception area and orangerie restaurant. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious but the decor is out of keeping with the building, very modern, with the lowest bed and most uncomfortable chairs we have ever come across in a hotel anywhere. The rooms are not...

We were touring in the area and this location worked wonderfully into our itinerary. A pleasant town to visit and a good quality hotel restaurant. Architecturally the building is lovely, the owners have updated and upgraded and chosen a modern and minimalist style for the rooms and hallways, frankly not my personal favorite but certainly that of many others I'm...
