Stayed at the Alymros in August with my wife & had a fantastic relaxing holiday. The hotel is new and modern & very clean. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious with a seating area with sofas , a massive very comfy bed , the bathroom was good with a walk in shower , good aircon also.
We tended to use the beach directly outside the hotel , plenty of sun beds & a cooling sea breeze. Although we did not use the pool much it was very nice and again had plenty of sun beds & umbrellas. We found the food to be very good & due to Covid restrictions a member of the restaurant staff got your food from the buffet whilst you walked around with them .On our last day they were slightly changing this , so you were able to get your own deserts & salad with the use of protective gloves. With regard to Covid precautions we were temperature checked on arrival , there are endless sanitisers around the resort , tables in the restaurant were nicely spaced as they are in the bars, soap dispensers & hand towels in the public toilets are automatic so no need to touch them , they really could not do much more.
We tended to use the lobby bar in the evening mostly as this was quieter & the barman here was great.
The staff throughout the hotel from cleaners , receptionists & everyone in the main restaurant were friendly welcoming & efficient .
Overall we had a wonderful holiday & I strongly recommend the hotel.
The only downside was the mosquitos in the evenings , be sure to use a good protection which you can buy for a reasonable price in hotel shop.

We had the pleasure of spending 5 fab nights at Almyros Beach and Spa during October just before the end of the season. We moved to this hotel after complaining about our original hotel (Saint George Palace) and the 2 couldn’t be more different.
Although it is quite remote it is a virtually brand new beachfront resort and worthy of at least 5 stars! The beach was slightly pebbly but was gorgeous with views of the mountains. Check-in was great, we were greeted with smiles and given full information about the resort, the facilities, the restaurants and bars.
Our room was gorgeous, luxurious and ultra clean, maid service was daily and to a very high standard. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Bedding, towels, bathrobes and slippers were all sumptuous and high quality.
The restaurants served a wide variety of foods to cater for any taste, each meal was served to you to comply with COVID.
The drinks were all branded spirits and cocktails so good with a massive choice and made to order! The roof bar was a lovely place to watch the sunset with a freshly made cocktail or 3 , the White Russians became a favourite and the barman in the roof bar was very friendly and you could see his smile despite the mask!
We decided to treat ourselves to a spa day and Sophia gave me a very relaxing hot stone massage, facial and scalp massage. We also enjoyed the steam room and sauna and the day was finished with another of the yummy cocktails.
Even though it was almost the end of the season there were daytime activities and evening entertainment.
The staff at this resort are all amazing, attentive and had a genuine smile for everyone , they are a credit to the resort and enhanced a truly amazing stay.
We booked a day trip with reception to visit Paxos and Antipaxos, we ordered a breakfast box as we were being picked up early and this was as tasty as if we had eaten in the restaurant. And then there is the snack bar! The burgers, sandwiches and spring rolls were soooo good!
I could go on and on about this resort, we would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Corfu and will definitely return and I rarely go to the same place twice!

A great resort, ideal for families with young children! Our 5 year old son loved it.

The hotel itself feels very new, clean and hygienic, zero cleanliness issues.
Location is a bit isolated, but plenty of boat or coach trips available to Corfu Town, or as an alternative car hire, if you want to adventure out.

It’s situated 10meters from the beach front, which was very quiet and relaxing.
The beach sand was ok, I can’t say it’s the best beach I’ve experienced, but it’s not bad. WiFi works on the beach, free sun beds, free towels.

Our room was one with a pool on our balcony, aesthetically it’s beautiful, practically the water was a bit too cold at the time of the year to use. Beds comfortable, rooms made up efficiently daily. Shower pressure was strong, TV in the room, strong WiFi signal and close to the main pool, restaurant beach.

All inclusive food was as good, not amazing, but for the price, more than ok. We enjoyed the buffet selection every night.
Service at the restaurant was always efficient, very friendly and attentive. The dessert selection was incredible.
All inclusive drinks were all local as expected, I would say this is an area of improvement, as the coffee wasn’t the best if your into your coffee like me. Bottled water is not included and you have to pay extra, which I found a bit odd. But overall, we enjoyed it.

Hotel staff were friendly, attentive and always tried to help any queries.

A special mention to the animation team who were FANTASTIC! They really helped create special and certainly unique memories our our family, especially our 5 year old son who LOVED the daily activities, the mini disco, the games.
All of the animation team kept their level of enthusiasm, friendly less and positivity every day!

Weather was always between 22-26 in the day, the night did get a bit chilly this time of year, pack a light jumper.

We’d certainly recommend this hotel and experience.

We have just returned from a wonderful two weeks stay at Almyros beach resort and spa in Corfu were we found everything to be on par with the 5 stars treatment you would expect with extra precautions due to the pandemic. All the hotel staff wears face masks even outside in the summer heat. The room was spacios with nice and comfortable furniture, a real king size bed with a single mattress (not 2 beds pushed together) and a big walk in shower. The swim in pool was a nice treat. The grounds were very well maintained. The beach was nice and big with plenty of sunbeds and a volleyball net. However what made us fall in love with this place and made us want to retun were the extras. The extra attention we received from the receptionist that checked us in whenever she saw us; the real wood baby crib our son had instead of those foldable travel cots that sometimes are so unstable; the extra rounds we did in the baggage car offered by the nice security guard when he was free because he saw how much our boy enjoyed it when we checked in, the way every waiter and bartender quickly remembered we allways asked for a glas of cold milk with a straw; and last but not least the extra patience and smiles the animation team had for us even when they were high fived by a 3 year old so many times I've lost count. On our last night that was a greek night and there was no mini disco they even singed and danced a few baby songs for him without music while greeting people. For parents you must know what a gift it is when people make your child feel special. So with that in mind I must say that the animation team has a tip jar just like the barmans and waiters do but because they have so many activities they only put it on stage when they perform. From my point of view that is not enough seeing how they run around all day in the sun to make us really feel on vacation. All in all this was a place were we forgot a while of our worrys and felt happy and safe even in the covid context. Also the sunsets are not to be missed.

The hotel is located in the quiet north of Corfu. There is not much around except some taverns and other all inclusive resorts, so it’s highly recommended to rent a car.

The beach is always a matter of taste. If you are into long golden beaches then that’s your place to be. We liked the beaches on the west coast around Paleokatstritsa better and the water was clearer there. Sometimes it’s also not very suitable for smaller children due to the wind and the high waves.

The hotel area is nice. Great pools especially with children and our son really enjoyed the playground.

Staff is mostly friendly and helpful except one lady at the reception who seemed a little bit annoyed all the time when we asked something.

We were not totally happy with our room. We stayed in a family suite, which was very spaciuous and modern but felt a little bit like a cellar because it was very dark in there. Moreover it was at the very end of the resort and included a lot of walking. The grass in front of our terrace was destroyed and the view was not nice at all. So if you can afford it we would recommend the sea view rooms or the swim-up suites.
Upon arrival our room (the floor) was a total mess. Sand and dirt everywhere and the terrace was also very dirty. After our complaint it was cleaned but it has to be mentioned that during the whole week the floor didn’t seem to be cleaned properly. Our request for other room options upon arrival was denied and the lady at the reception was not helpful at all.

The food was good and you can eat once at the a la carte restaurant when you’ve booked all inclusive (best dinner of the week!)
Sometimes we would have liked more seafood and vegetarian options as it was always a lot of meat.
One of the things that we really disliked was the extremly loud disco music during the meals. It was so annoying and really not relaxing. Especially in the morning it was so stressful.

Car rental through the hotel worked well for us and was quickly organized.

We don’t know if it was a seasonal thing but a real issue was the mosquito invasion in the evenings. We’ve never experienced something like that and unfortunately it was not possible to be outside in the evening. Although we used repellent everyone of us got more than 20 (!) bites.

We have returned to Almyros for a second year and have not been disappointed. Everything was as good as and even better than our stay the year before - the cocktail list has expanded and includes premium alcohol as well as many choices - the bar staff mixed amazing drinks credit to all of them!! The Animation team were fab and the dinning room with the lovely George and his crew were attentive and always provided excellent food and service. The ladies in the spa were fabulous and we had a lovely massage and facial with them, and enjoyed the steam and sauna too.
In all this resort is a gem in the island of corfu as everything you want is there, we had a wonderful week with our family and we will definitely be back for a third visit next year ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you to all of you who made our holiday so perfect 😘😘

We really enjoyed our stay at Almyros Beach Resort and Spa. Upon arrival, our luggage was taken to our room by a friendly staff member and our check in was extremely easy and quick. Even though we had arrived late, past restaurant closing hours for dinner, the staff kept the dining room open just for us! The waiting staff were very considerate and polite, and we thoroughly enjoyed the service and food.

When we came to our room, we were delighted to find a welcoming bottle of champagne, 2 full 1 litre water bottles, and a plate full of fresh fruit!

Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of choice. The restaurant was almost always busy and the staff tried their best to find us a seat at all times. The bar staff were always friendly yet professional. Special mention to Kristoff, Suzanne and Ivan at the lobby bar. The sunset from the Nectar bar and Ambrosia restaurant was stunning.

The kids loved the Entertainment at the resort. The entire team worked relentlessly to keep the kids entertained in the evenings at the mini disco. The magic show was a hit and our kid’s really enjoyed it. The team also organised a football match every other day which my son loved. We played tennis at the courts which was next to the football pitch. Special mention to Emo, Rusty,Stephi and the DJ. Bags of energy every night!

The sports kits were readily available from reception who were always polite and professional. Special mention to Martina and Adonis at the reception.

Lastly the pool with the flumes were big hit not just with the kids! They were well maintained and always clean. We would definitely recommend Almyros to families looking for a relaxing break.

All the staff were lovely, friendly, welcoming and helpful. I cannot list all their names because I am not good with names, but I will mention Jimmy as he was extremely helpful. I wish I could of left a tip for all of them. Facilities were clean and up to date.
There was a wide range of good quality food available at breakfast. I would recommend that you hire a car, take bus or taxi if you want to go anywhere. I would highly recommend this resort.

The hotel generally does not meet the standard price quality. Alcohol is offered which is of very poor quality. The food is generally monotonous without much choice. There is no children's buffet for children. Breakfast is under any criticism. We had to eat outside the hotel. Because there is nothing tasty at the hotel buffet to satisfy customers. There are also no decent desserts.Otherwise the hotel is clean with a very nice pool. And the beach is directly opposite the hotel.

We, family of 4 just came back from our holiday to Corfu and very happy that we picked this resort. Rooms and facilities are modern, the pools are cleaned everyday and the staff is super helpful.

We arrived late due to some flight issues but the staff made us feel welcome, they even kept aside some food for our 11pm check in. The room, overlooking the swimming pool and sea was just awesome.
We found the food choices nice and varied. My wife who is vegetarian found no issues with the food although she has struggled at some other locations.
The hotel has a nice private beach with enough sunbeds for all guests. Watching the sunset from there is a super nice experience.

No reviews of this resort can be completed without mentioning the animation team who exactly know how to keep children and adults engaged. Evatz and Tina are very talented entertainers.
The bar has enough choices of drinks and cocktails, served by nice and friendly staff.
The hotel took all COVID precautions and you could see that they were serious about the health and wellbeing of guests and staff.
I will highly recommend this place and will look forward to staying here again.
