This hotel is one of our absolute favorites! The art throughout the hotel is beautiful. It feels like a luxurious home. The food in the restaurants is delicious. For guests they offer a $45 price fix menu that is delicious with some of the best wait staff service we have ever experienced from Lorenzo and Limo. The spa is a perfect place to spend the day. I had a full body scrub and massage that were incredible. Although the weather was cold we were able to enjoy the hot tub, saunas, and even the heated pool outside! Every room in the hotel is beautifully decorated and so clean. The hotel is located within walking distance to other delicious restaurants and a grocery store. We will absolutely be back!

Hotel Turm is by far my favorite hotel in the world. I first went 16 years ago, and just departed my most recent stay. The class of service is amazing. They beat any large luxury brand hotel easily. From the moment you check in, you feel welcomed and at home. They offer a welcome drink at reception that you can enjoy on one of their stunning outdoor seating areas. The views from every angle showcase everything incredible about the Dolomites. The property is so unique with incredible lounge areas all over. It offers privacy and seclusion in the middle of a beautiful mountain town. The walls are filled with incredible artwork. The spa is my absolute favorite (and I love spas). The treatment options are vast, as is the wellness area. From multiple sauna styles to several pool options, you can’t help but love it. We opted for several spa services and every single one was incredible. The food is as perfect as everything else at Hotel Turm. The menus are varied and showcase the unique influences from the area. We opted for their multi course menu each evening, which changes daily. They even allow you to substitute dishes should something not fit your tastes. The rooms are also perfection. We had a suite room on a higher floor with a balcony l that had incredible Mountain View’s in every direction. The suites are massive for a European hotel and quite large by US standards as well. They boast every amenity you could want. The location is also wonderful for exploring all this region has to offer. It was an easy 20 minute drive (or you could take a bus with provided bus tickets) up to Alpe di Siusi. It’s about an hour drive to Cortina. We are already planning our next visit to Hotel Turm.

My husband and I booked hay baths and massages at this lovely spa. The staff was so warm, polite and professional. Would love to stay at the hotel on our next visit. It was so luxurious and charming, the young woman at the front desk was so helpful.

Excellent hotel which we have frequented repeatedly and never get tired of doing so. Superb location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms with lovely decor, excellent wellness offerings managed by a well trained professional staff, and not to forget the great cuisine, make this hotel something special. We never get tired staying there. The blending of Austrian culture with talian flair makes a hotel stay here more than worthwhile.

This is an old building, but the rooms are updated with modern amenities. Nice bathroom, no A/C, but we opened the windows at night. Wonderful duvets on the bed. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Stayed for 2 nights on a Backroads trip. Had a massage. It was ok. I think I had a communication problem with the masseuse. It was relaxing. I believe that all the rooms are different. Lots of art with religious themes. Very tasteful.
It was a very good experience! Extremely clean!

The place is heavenly, I would say even magical, if you don't mind staying awake all night. The problem was that the room I was given was over the bar/employee-service entrance, and it didn't quiet down until midnight, and then started up by 6am. There was a lot of "clean-up" noise. Yes, the place is very clean. In addition, the town bell tower, right next door to the Hotel, rang before 7am, many times an hour.

The first night I thought a next door neighbor was making the racket. The second night I went searching out the commotion. At about 11pm I discussed my options with the front desk. I decided to stay put for the night.

By the next morning, after another sleepless night (did I mention I am totally deaf in one ear, so with my ear to the pillow, I generally hear nothing) I discussed with the front desk moving to another room. I was told there was no other room. I told the front desk that if I couldn't have another room, I would need to leave. I needed sleep. I was told there would be a penalty for leaving early.

The Hotel did not charge me for leaving early, instead they charged charged me for two spa treatments I was suppose to have two days later, that I would obviuosly not be there for. I tried to explain the obsurdity of charging me for services I was unable to use, since I did not know where I would be even that night.

Due to the langauge barrier ( I do not speak German or Italian), I decided not to argue about the spa charges, planning to write the Hotel upon my return. I did write, but the Hotel never responded and challenged my challenge to the credit card charge, so I ended up paying for services I never received.

Overall, I felt like a tourist being taken advantage of , being given a less preferable room, in a nice resort. Obviously this did not leave a good taste in my mouth, and I decided to drive over to Cortina and take a room for the night.

We stayed at the Turm for a friend's wedding. She was married at the Presule castle, just outside of Fie. We could not believe the scenery, it is the most beautiful mountain location we have ever seen!

The staff at the Turm were fantastic, despite not speaking that much English. We had to work on our Italian or German, which is the language of choice. They were so accomodating though.

We would sit on the patio over looking the hillsides and sip wonderful wines from the Bolzano area, which are not imported into the states or drink the most delicious cappacino made throughout the day. We never wanted to leave, the Turm or the Dolomites.

The rooms were much larger than anywhere else we stayed in Italy. The bathrooms were huge and very modern, extremely clean. The beds were wonderful and we had goose down comforters to use. We also had a large balcony with french doors opening to the mountains in the distance. We would leave the doors open at night and feel the breeze. There is nothing like it.

The spa is great, but different from the states. I enjoyed the massage, but the mani/pedi was not what I would do again. Use the steam/sauna rooms and the pool.

The food is spectacular. One of the best restaurants we went to in Italy. Try the Pumpkin cappacino soup with white truffles. UNBELIEVEABLE! I would fly back there with more time and money, just to have that soup!

The Dolomites and the Turm is a must visit in Italy--we will be going back either this winter or next for ski season. Cannot wait!

If you are traveling to the mighty Dolomites [the Italian Alps], you are in for a special treat.
The mountains are high with crags of snow on them. And below are tiers of green meadows and vineyards cascading down the hillsides like ocean waves.

We just returned from two weeks touring Italy, from Rome through Tuscany & Venice and ending with the delight of the Italian Alps. We stayed at a place in Fie Allo Sciliar, at the Romantik Hotel Turm. There are no words to describe it. The rooms are sleek, with the best beds and THE MOST LUXURIOUS sheets & duvets in the world. The spa treatments are plentiful and certainly different than we have in the states. And the food was absolutely 5 star, with a great wine selection and wonderful atmosphere.

The owner of the 50 room hotel is also the chef and proudly circulates among the guests' tables to speak with each about the dinner. Although we were in Italy, German is spoken as well and the people who live here seem to 'feel' German. Both languages are heard and enough English to get you through a delightful time.

We spent a week at Turm Hotel and despite the beautifully decorated rooms we wouldn't recommend it. The staff in the hotel is hardly looking at you, not caring at all, during our whole stay nobody ever asked us whether we were satisfied/needed anything (exactly the opposite to the hotel restaurant where the staff is extremely well trained and friendly). Despite the fact that it is supposed to be a family run hotel we never met the owner/manager. Plus the hotel seems to be focusing on events/ large groups so if you go there by yourself you end up feeling "isolated" and almost "unwanted" as the only one not belonging to the group, especially since the groups are allowed to take full possession of pool/garden/restaurant. Location seems great as it is in the historical center but is rather noisy from the main street leading up to Seiser Alm...
So all in all by far too expensive for what you get! The only positive aspect is the staff at the restaurant which absolutely deserves a 5 star rating!

We adored Romatik Turm hotel. We booked 5 days in advance we were so busy at work, but we have come back so chilled. The rooms are gorgeous, the setting at the bottom of Sciliar is fantastic. Swimming in the pool with the view of the mountain was stunning. The spa facilities are excellent, we had a hot stones massage and a cleopatrabad - a milk and honey whirlpool bath for two which was very soothing and romantic. The restaurant is also to die for - every meal was amazing, from the 1001 calorie menu - no skimping on taste, to the a la carte, we enjoyed every mouthful - it's no surprise the chef has his own book. The restaurant is also beautiful, with the view of the mountains and the satff are great,as is the selection of wine. I can't rate this hotel highly enough - if you are looking for a great break to get away from manic city life, this is the perfect retreat.

Yes there is an elevator to the various levels of the hotel. Getting to the spa should be the only inaccessible part of the hotel.
