IL Paganello was a wonderful place to stay. My daughter and I had the pleasure of spending 6 days in the Loggia apartment. The estate was very serene. Great place to unwind and recharge. Il Pagenello wines are superb! Riccardo was an excellent host and very accomidating to us. The estate is very close to Florence and Sienna. The location...

Our family and I have had the pleasure of spending 10 days at Il Paganello in September 2014. We rented the Terrazza and Benedetta, which were more than large enough for a group of five adults and two kids. Il Paganello is ideally located in Noce, five minutes west of Tavarnelle, on the top of a hill sitting at 350...

I stayed here for a few days after staying in Santa Maria. Il Paganello is a beutifull estate, in the heart of the chiantishire very close to Florence. There was a lovely pool to relax in with an outstanding view from the pool and courtyard. The courtyard was large with seating areas for relaxing in the shade, and looking at...

We stayed in la Capella for 2 weeks and we have enjoyed each day of it. Previous reviews have indicated most if not all of the nice aspects of this place already. What we liked most were the following aspects of our stay : - staying at a place where one gets in touch with ages of history - never...

This year has been our second stay in Il Paganello and it has become our favourite place to stay in the region between Firenze and Siena. The apartment Capella has two spacious bedrooms and a living room/kitchen. The best part of the apartment is the large loggia that serves as an outdoor living room. Il Paganello is a very large...

My husband and I stayed in the Capella apartment for 5 nights in June. It had a large loggia which included a dining table w/ 6 chairs, love seat, and 2 lounge chairs. One bedroom had a queen size bed and the other two twin beds. We thought the apartment was lovely! We were able to see the other apartments...

We stayed in the Terraza apartment for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. Previous reviews describe how spacious, comfortable and characterful the rooms are, and that's an understatement! The building dates from the 12th century and you truly feel like you've stepped back in time. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and well equipped, and there is...

We stayed in Il Paganello last summer. We were three families so we rent three apartments Terrazza, Cappella and Bernadetta. Villa is much more than just vacation house it is place you can move back in time. Villa is rather a small palace moved from Florence. As we learned from the owner it is partly truth, but to know why...

We visited Tuscany many times before and usually stayed in one of those perfectly renovated typical stone-built farmhouses. This time we wanted to try something different and we are convinced that Il Pagnello was the right choice. The house must be several hunders years old and has not been recently renovated from outside. But this is a great advantage for...

We stayed in Il Paganello for the second week of our vacation (1st week was in Santa Maria a Poneta, Same owner) and it was very rural in comparison to our previous location. The rooms are absolutely huge and very clean. We stayed in the upper room overlooking the courtyard. Unbelievable view of the surrounding countryside from our balcony and...

“We liked la Capella the most. The loggia (west-side of the building) is wonderfull to spend time until early afternoon (when it gets to hot there as well), and again as of sundown, with some cheese and a glass of excellent home made chianti... However, if you prefer sleeping in, then it may be better to take one of the two appartments that are not along the street side. Otherwise, the combination of an open window (to cool the appartment down during night) and the farming activities starting at around 7 am will ensure you don't need a wake-up call. We did not mind as we took of as of 8am anyway to see Tuscany, and be back at the pool in the afternoon when it is too hot in the cities anyway.”
