We arrived after a beatiful trip throw the woods and hills of the Tuscany and we reached this fabulous hotel that used to be a Castello from a big family of Italy. The food was great, we ate a 5 course menu, a trip to the Tuscany with the sense of flavour!

We arrive about 9:30 in the evening and they wisked our luggage from us and we went right to dinner as we were very hungry. We had a choice of two restaurants: a one star Michelin or their traditional Tuscan, La Tavernia. The food was very traditional. After a wonderful dinner we were taken tomour beautiful room. Very modern with...

My husband and I were in Tuscany for our anniversary and we had chosen a different hotel as our HUB to see the Chianti region of Tuscany but that other hotel wasn't what we hoped for so decided to cancel our booking early and look for a different hotel closer to the Chianti hills and wineries to visit. We met...

This is a great hotel. All around I'd say this is THE best hotel I've ever stayed at. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff, handled very professionally and expeditiously, even to a staffer from the Spa coming out to offer us cool lavender towels after a long drive up from Rome. Our room was impeccable, immaculate,...

We stayed in 4 excellent hotels during our recent trip to Italy, including the Four Seasons in Florence, and this was far and away our favorite. The staff is superb, breakfast exquisite, the grounds are truly gorgeous and the rooms are spacious and quiet. Perfectly situated between Florence and Sienna, this hotel offered us a wonderful daily respite after touring...

This is a wonderful old castle within walking distance of a village, where there are bars and restaurants. The hotel has two restaurants, one is smaller specializing in traditional food, whilst the other is a la carte. Food is of a very high standard. Service is excellent. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, in fact every room is different, the...

We stayed in early October and visiting Castello di Nero was at the end of our Italy tour. I stayed at Castello del Nero for 5 days at the end of September. The hotel is set in the picturesque, almost surreal Chianti region, not far from Florence, yet far enough away to experience the magic that is Tuscany. A first half of October stay at CdN. Brilliantly located with marvellous views into Tuscany hills. Charming, friendly and helpful staff across all service points - no was never an answer. Great food and phantastic selection of wines. Bring your repellent if you want to enjoy the pool area without getting bitten.
