We stayed 6 nights in July 2021. Location - 3 min walk to beach, loads of restaurants around, busy on Friday and Saturday nights but other nights quite quiet. You can drive to other beaches and the Cabo de gata area as well which is well worth a visit. Room- We had room 314. The rooms on the top floor have the best views and more privacy. Lovely big balcony, but the floor of balcony could have been cleaner. The rest of the room was clean, with a comfy bed and good aircon. There isn’t much wardrobe space or drawers. Food- we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was 15€ per person per night!! Expensive considering you can eat breakfast in one of the restaurants in the port for less than half of that. One day we ate breakfast in the cafeteria of the hotel, which was fine. Swimming pool- we didn’t spend much time here, and when we stayed in the hotel it was pretty quiet but I imagine there might not be enough space in high season. Parking- 15€ per day to park in the port. Plenty of spaces. Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday, and would return to the hotel again in the future.

Excellent. Lovely room and terrace overlooking the port. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Simple decoration but tasteful. Tea and coffee in the room. Good shower. Restaurant pretty good. Good location. Only downside is poor wifi. Excellent. I will return.

We booked this dinner at the last minute. Food was delicious, staff were lovely and very attentive, replenishing drinks, bread rolls, water etc without being asked. Great sound system and screen provided for countdown to the bells, when the traditional 12 grapes and glasses of fizz were distributed. We had previously stayed at this hotel a few months ago and found the staff and room quality very good.

Lovely modern building, very large room with balcony overlooking marina, spacious bathroom, large 'dressing' area for clothes, free safe, minibar. Delicious breakfast with ample choices. All this was spoilt by far too many 'issues' On arriving in the room, I went into the bathroom and saw some hairs on the shower floor; we were staying for 8 days there weren't enough hangers for all our clothes. I went down to reception and was told there no spares. Next morning when we went into the dining room for breakfast there was a clothes rack with at least two dozen hangers. There was a big dispute with the receptionist because of the car parking charge – but that eventually got resolved. The cups and saucers in the room weren't washed the first morning and when we mentioned it to reception we were told the girl was busy as they had a lot of people checking in that night. The shower wasn’t cleaned as empty bottles were left on the soap dish and tops of other bottles were in exactly the same place as we had left them during our showers. The mini bar wasn’t working. We reported this to the reception and asked for it to be fixed. The receptionist told us we could change rooms. This was half way through our stay. We suggested she get it fixed or replaced. When we came back down hours later to go out and asked why no one had come to sort it, she shrugged her shoulders and said he must have gone home. Next morning, again we asked for it to be fixed. When we went back up after breakfast it had obviously been replaced but the dirt and dust that must have been behind the old one was on the floor with some dirty paper. Another day one of the cups hadn’t been washed. Obviously the room wasn’t swept because there was a piece of paper on the floor that never moved throughout our whole stay. One day we came back and there was no spare toilet roll, shower gel or body lotion. I went to reception and rather than write it down and tell housekeeping, the receptionist got a box out of the cupboard, gave me 1 shower gel and 1 body lotion and opened a pack of toilet rolls and gave me one! All of the above spoilt what should have been a lovely stay – there is so much to commend this lovely hotel but especially in this time of Coronovirus and extra vigilance with cleanliness etc, I feel very strongly that this hotel really needs to do something drastic to change. The staff in the restaurant were all very helpful.

From the greeting of the receptionist to the huge room with a view of the marina I could not fault this lovely small hotel. Situated on the marina in Aguadulce the hotel is lit in aqua blue, built over just three floors it is modern, bright and airy. Our room overlooking the marina was one of the biggest I’ve stayed in in Europe. A great nights sleep on a firm double bed with the occasional distant rattle of yacht wires the only noise to break the quiet. The food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent, my John Dory (gallado de San Pedro) a particular treat for dinner. The wine list gave a good selection at different price points. We also made use of the spa with a thermal suite to rival many a high end hotel/spa. The massage was amazing. All in all a fabulous stay and we were sorry it could not have been longer. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful even with my poor Spanish.
