Perfect for a family breakaway. Staff were brilliant. Everything else was clean, spacious and worked. Great value for money. It's also close to the main beaches in Salt Rock, which makes it ideal for families with small kids. One really nice touch is that they give you a beach umbrella to take to the beach which made the world of...

We found this B&B quite by chance and at the last minute by way of a quick Google search as I had forgotten to book us accommodation the night prior to flying out from Durban. Arriving at 6pm in the dark with only 2 hours notice we were met efficiently and shown to a delightful self catering cottage. Lovely decor,...

The place is well kept with classic french style. Our spacious room downstairs flowed out to the lovely garden. The room had its own little kitchenette so we good bring home meals instead of eating out every evening. Lovely queen size bed. Good HD TV with all DSTV channels. A full breakfast under the pergola is pleasant however the service...

This serene and private French hideaway on the footsteps of the beach provided the ideal getaway for my newly wed wife and I. The attention to detail of the decor of every room and ambiance was just perfect. The breakfast was freshly prepared and service always with a smile. We had privacy, security and an unforgettable stay.

My mom, sister and I had a wonderful stay at Petite Provence in February. The website descriptions and photos absolutely accurately match the real experience! We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the Tournesol room which are situated next to each other on the ground floor and open onto the back garden a few meters from the stunning pool. Each...

A beautiful situated Guest House, just 500m from the roaring waves of the Indian Ocean. A well preserved garden and rooms with many original France features. A nice quiet and peaceful place to stay. Rooms are clean, en suite and have got a comfortable outdoor sitting area. Petite Provence provides a delicious full breakfast.

We stayed in this nice little B&B at the end of our South Africa trip and enjoyed relaxing days. The entire accomodation was set up with love for detail. Every morning the sun loungers were arranged for us at the pool. Breakfast was fresh and sufficient. It was quiet and we felt safe. Good choice.

Being an eternal romantic, any place that sports beautiful French decor in the rooms, candles galore, including a candle chandelier over the bathtub made for two, gets my vote. A mere 300 meters or so from the main Salt Rock beach, this place epitomizes the old school feel that we love about Salt Rock. Less pretentious than Ballito and just...
