Myself and 2 friend were in Cornwall for a Bowls match, and needed an overnight stop, and for a hotel we booked purely because it was cheaper than the one down the road in St. Austell we couldn't be happier with this true hidden gem of a Travelodge. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the happy nature of Gordon... More

This is the second Travel Lodge I have stopped in and this hotel and is miles better than the Travel Lodge I stopped in at Saltash. Hotel rooms really cheap - I paid £43 per night which inculded wifi. Location is good. Just a short distance from the A30 so easy access to Bodmin and ideal for getting around Cornwall.... More

Well, what an unexpected gem of a little Travelodge - not at all what I expected - in a good way! It seemed a little off the beaten track and a little smaller than most other Travelodges I've stayed in. This of course is because the A30 has been redirected more recently to a nearby course so the hotel wasn't... More

Fine stay and the adjoining hotel (Victoria Inn) was very good with breakfast and excellent evening meal. Location was good for the station although only a couple of services a day. Fine if travelling by car (I wasn't)

The hotels location was the big appeal to us as we were going in all directions on day trips. The hotel itself was very pleasant but had a strange smell to it. I hope they're gotten rid of it. Apart from that, the staff made us feel very welcome and were super friendly and helpful.

Second visit to this hotel. First time our room was on the upper level - fairly quiet room, usual Travelodge quality. This time we had a room on the ground floor - not quite the same experience. The bathroom air vent seemed to be connected to the kitchen of the adjoining restaurant. The first night, when we came back into... More

Simple travelodge ageing a bit but well looked after. Room had a small bath/shower. Has no restaurant itself but is next door to the Victoria inn where you can get a large selection of meals or roasts on Sunday very popular locally so can be busy at weekends. You can order simple breakfast box on line, or walk to services... More

This is by far the best travelodge my wife and I have stayed in. So peaceful we we did not hear a sound inside or outside the travelodge for the duration of our stay.. Staff were welcoming, and the extra tea and coffee facilities at no extra cost were very welcome..The almost luxury of a deep hot bath at the... More

This hotel is only a few mins away from Eden Project and many other attractions, which we will go back to visit in the future. We arrived 11pm and were booked in quickly by Nicky and her colleague who was just going off shift. Very friendly staff throughout our 2 night stay. The room was very warm and much appreciated...
