The hotel is functional in a rustic sort of way. Small and overpriced, but with a convenient location. The room was adequate and the breakfast plentiful, but stodgy. Nothing here for the health conscious - just carbs and coffee. You also have to be an animal lover because the little Jack Russell and large black cat roam the hotel with...

We stopped here for one night before taking the early ferry next day. The hotel is in the centre of town, a few minutes from the beach and a five minute drive to Ouistreham car ferry terminal. Parking is on the street. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant. We paid on check-in to allow our early departure. The room was...

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Lion sur Mer, Hermansville and the D-Day sites such as Sword beach, Pegasus Bridge and many others. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and the rooms are a good size. The breakfast is good and fresh pastries are always available - the English breakfast looked good as well. It's the service that makes...

This family run hotel is in a great location right in the centre of the village, we have been made to feel so welcome. We were here for the d day 70th anniversary, everybody in this lovely village is so helpful and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is great, cooked or continental, the rooms are a decent...

relatively easy to find if you ignore the first sign and go for centreville, hotel is right by traffic lights and an ideal place to spider out from each day. And as I had youngest grandson (8) good location for the Landing Beaches from Sword to Utah, Quistreham (Pegasus Bridge), Collevill sur mer, St Mere Eglise, Point du Hoc, Caen,...

We chose this hotel as an alternative to stopping right at the ferry port, and because of its proximity to the beach. They are obviously geared up for dealing with customers like us as we were able to, effectively, check out as we booked in, which was handy for our morning ferry. Our comfort room was spotless and well presented,...

Convenient for the Ouistreham ferry port. Efficient if rather formal check in. The room was clean and comfortable with a huge en suite bathroom (suitable for disabled guests). Close to several restaurants and short walk to the beach. Slight disadvantage in not having an off street car park, but there was limited street parking in front of the hotel and...

Very convenient for the ferry, advertised english spoken and lounge. No english spoken and lounge was the family room not at all welcoming. Stayed two nights adequate room and shower, breakfast was spoilt by cat on one table and lady feeding two dogs off another one. Second night we were locked out although it was only nine o'clock and had...

Overnight stop before early morning ferry. Only ten minutes from the port and a nice change from the sterile rooms of many of the large chain of budget hotels. On the main road through Lion sur Mer next to the traffic lights. Good selection of restaurants nearby and short walk to the beach. Lovely room and furnishings. Small but adequate...

Very clean, excellent comfortable bed, nice ensuite bathroom with good shower. The hotel needs a lift because the stairs are difficult with luggage or without! The traffic noise disturbed sleep for a couple of nights. We had to have the windows open because of the heat and the traffic was noisy at night.
