Cooper’s is the pinnacle of remote fly-in lodges in my personal opinion. Bedrooms are more than ample for two anglers along with private washrooms, and excellent housekeeping staff. If you loose a few pounds during your stay, it is your own fault. Evening meals are like a Sunday dinner every night. Breakfast is made to order as is lunch. Granted lunch is a sandwich, fruit and cookie, but you didn’t have to prepare it, and you have your choice. Cooper’s is pricey, but reasonable when you consider it includes; 24 hour generator, 3 meals a day, guide service with boat and motor, your fishing license, housekeeping, and transportation to and from Goose Bay to lodge. I will return.
I have been to Coopers Minipi and Ann Marie Lodge six times with my dad and my son along with nine other guys. It is by far "the best " fishing lodge we have been to in our 20+ years of fishing northern Canada. With that said you will never want to go brook trout fishing anywhere else once you hook into your first 5+ pound Minipi Brookie. I can't say enough about the guides and all the staff, they are hands down the greatest we have seen. Thank you all for the beautiful memories.
Cooper's Minipi Lodges in Labrador, Canada is justly famous for it's world class Brook Trout fishing. I have just returned from my fifth trip there and, as always, it was phenomenal. The lodge at Ann Marie was beyond belief… elegant, comfortable, spacious and situated on beautiful Ann Marie Lake. The Minipi system is widely known for it's huge Brook Trout of up to 8 and 10 pounds, but it also has Landlocked Arctic Char and Northern Pike. The guides are first class and all are experienced. They will make certain that you have every possible chance to land the trophy trout of your dreams. The service staff is also excellent and the meals are superb. This is a remote location accessible by their own Beaver float plane . Fly outs are often part of the program. If fishing is slow in one location, others are available. This is a true "bucket list" destination.…
I've know of this place for decades but never was able to pull off a trip. Just came back from there and it was every thing I had expected and more. The lodge at AnnMarie was spectacular for a fly in fishing camp. The staff were all very motivated and friendly. The fish were plentiful and large. By yourself or with a group, the lodge can accommodate you and your needs. I look forward to returning in upcoming years. Bob Naples Fl.
I have never stayed with more friendly, kind and caring people. The lodge is beautiful, the views spectacular and the fishing was out of this world amazing. A great place to get away, and spend a week. Come here to get away, enjoy good company, the natural beauty, Brook Trout and even Char. If your looking for other activities like shopping etc., you'll have to do that in Goose Bay before or after your time out at the lodge. Breakfast to order, sandwich of choice while fishing and dinner's ready when you return.
