Spent the night in Goose-bay. Airline put me up here. Hotel is clean, check in staff is very regimental, not much for smiles or being helpful. The tv remote didn't work very well. Restaurant next door was very good. All said if in Goose-bay I would stay here again. I do not believe the other options in town are any...

Thinnest hotel walls constructed in history. This is very similar to tenting. Thank god the kids next to me only want to talk instead of watching TV until midnight. Also, the most hollow floors ever. Probably the oldest decor I've ever stayed in. I could hear the kid rustling around in his covers and blankets! I heard every word the...

We are ferrying an airplane back to Florida and stopped in Goose Bay for fuel and to spend the night. The airport FBO fixed us up with a room here and all was good and as expected. Certainly not a fancy hotel but located next to a restaurant and within 5 minutes of the airport. The room was clean, the...

We made our trip across the TransLabrador Highway and booked several hotels along the way. Hotel North 1 was a great stop. Room was clean and bright. Staff happy to help. Rooms had wifi, bar fridge. Hotel 1 is centrally located--close to grocery store, gas. TransLabrador Highway has many miles between towns so it is important to plan stops. Hotel...

Having just stayed in Hotel North I must say it is clean and the rooms are well appointed and quiet. Very nice place. I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone and I would stay here again. The rooms are also air conditioned and the bathrooms are clean and first rate.

This is a good, well managed hotel with everything you need. The staff are very helpful - when one of our bedroom lights seemed not to work, they tried really hard to sort it, and in the end it was just a matter of finding the right switch! The restaurant next door is pretty good too with a first class...

I arrived on motorcycle in Goose Bay after a long, wet ride, only to find all the local hotels booked solid. When I talked to Amanda, she suggested we try the Hotel North branch in North West River, which I did. She also suggested a place for me to buy some souvenirs and tools, and when I asked about laundry,...

The staff are very friendly and tend to your every need. The food at the Galley restaurant is excellent. A lot of the staff that work there are from The Philippines and also from India. They are very nice people. I especially liked a lady named Manpreet and a lady named Harpreet, both from India. Manpreet works on the front...

The night clerk was very friendly and accommodating. When informing the morning clerks that the shower water was cold, the response was shrugging of the shoulders while stating the water heater was new. No apology or expressed concern. Indifference. Have since chosen not to stay in a North hotel in another location due to this experience.
