Detailed Reviews
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Such care and thoughtfulness put in to the service. Always a smile when walking through the lobby! Always willing and eager to help with any questions. The room cleaners went above and beyond with little messages/quotes and gestures of kindness. Cleaning was very thorough and always smelled amazing when we came back to the room!! Lindsay, Jacqui, Analise and anyone else I missed, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Your kindness did not go un noticed or unappreciated! You made our one week stay feel like we were surrounded by honest, kind hearted people. I hope your manager knows how wonderful you people are! I have never experienced such genuine caring service! I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this by far was the best experience I have ever had! Thank you to all the staff! I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a nice, modern, and clean hotel. The beds were really nice, and there was a microwave and fridge, and nice shampoos etc. We appreciated the great price offered for sports teams. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast was discontinued, but the fancy coffee machine was a highlight, and overall it was an excellent value. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

By far the best hotel in town. Excellent staff, very good safety protocols, you can tell that they take the safety of their guests and staff very seriously. Very comfy beds! Weird location-not the place to go for stunning views (in a mall) but everything you need is in walking distance. Flawless wifi and cell service-and public computer- to stay connected (unlike other hotels in area).

Stayed at the Mstar for 2 nights for work as it was considered the best hotel in town. The hotel is surrounded by stores ("the mall") and several restaurants (A&W, Timmy's, DQ, Mr. Mike's, The Chalet to name a few) so it's close to everything (ice rink, pool, library) you need. The hotel looks to be recently renovated and is very modern and nice. Hotel has free coffee and tea as well as fresh fruit available in the lobby. The rooms are nicely done and modernized. The room was clean and beds are comfy. Rooms also have coffee and tea, microwave and fridge. Overall a nice hotel topped off by friendly staff. I recommend this hotel.

The first thing I noticed about the MStar Hotel was the sparkling windows and front entrance. It spoke of the whole hotel and its extreme effort in ensuring my visit was excellent. The staff was very welcoming, the room was very comfortable, clean and modern. There was complimentary fresh muffins and hot drinks available at all hours. We were there for 3 nights . I would stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place to stay in Kitimat.

+1
Rm 3315. Great customer service and complimentary muffins, specialty coffee and tea located in the main lobby for guests.
Rm included microwave, mini fridge, iron, hair dryer, tel, TV, coffee maker, A/C, alarm clock, Wi-Fi and a hand sanitizer dispenser. There is also an in-room safe for valuables, but this was temp out of service.
The only disappointment was there was no pen & paper and the shower head is designed to produce low water pressure and angle cannot be adjusted and there is only a half wall in the shower (no door for the shower by design).

Comfortable rooms and beds with good showers. Disappointed that there was no tea or coffee in the rooms though freely available in the lobby. Muffins were also available free of charge but, sadly, the promised fruit in the morning had all gone by 8 with the exception of 4 inedible green apples. When we asked for some we were told that no more was available. Unnecessary poor planning.

My family and I stayed for a week, and I truly could have stayed another week. Rooms were SUPER clean, beds and pillows are a DREAM, the shower was lovely and the staff were all spectacular. This is officially our home away from home, as we will be up as often as possible since my husband works in Kitimat. The hotel is is the heart of the town surrounded by restaurants, the mall, river, scenic sites and the most beautiful views of the coastal rainforest.
We are so thankful for how hospitable the MStar was to us and are excited for our next visit!

Me and my husband and two children recently stayed in Kitimat for the weekend. We are so pleased to have chosen Mstar. The location is super convenient for walking to the pool, hospital, grocery store, restaurants. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. And there is a great coffee maker and tea maker available all day in the lobby. We stayed on the main floor and the rooms were surprisingly quiet, thank goodness. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Kitimat! Thank you Vanessa and all the other helpful staff!

One of the best Hotel Experiences in 2023! My room was very large, comfortable, quiet, and clean. It included a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and work desk. The lobby had an amazing espresso machine and complimentary fresh muffins. The front desk staff was always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
