Where would I start... The beautiful building, uniquely and tastefully decorated rooms, lovely and warm decor or the amazing and truly wonderful ambiance and hospitality by the hosts. People who know me well, also know that how particular I am. My partner and I had an amazing weekend getaway and experience. Everything was just perfect. Everything including the lovely home made meals prepared by Ruth, which were made to perfection. Please do not hesitate to have a one of a kind experince at Minette Bay Lodge. THANK YOU!! We will be back indeed :))

Dear Peter and Danielle, It was a pleasure to make you comfortable down here on Kitimat's snowy shorefront over the weekend, light the library fire and leave you to quiet contemplation, a good book and Ruth's home made fare.. We're delighted that you felt restored as you left for another week of work. We're looking forward to seeing you again. Yours, Howard and Ruth.

Our staycation weekend at Minette Bay Lodge was exactly what my husband and I needed to rejuvenate. To say the experience and hospitality was exceptional would be an understatement. Some highlights: Ms Ruth’s fabulous breakfasts and 4-course dinner, misty morning walks through their well-kept forest and shoreline trails, the welcome wine and graze board next to the crackling fire in the library, the luxurious feather bed, the soaker bath with a view, and quality unplugged time with each other. We will most definitely come for another stay!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Minette Bay Lodge. Location is amazing. Decor makes you feel you are in some other part of the world. Howard and Ruth will make sure you feel perfectly at home and are by far the most hospitable owners you can imagine. If you ever visit this part of Canada, and need a place to stay, don't look further. This is it!

Tremendous hospitality, wonderful attention to detail made our 3 nights here something to remember for years to come. Ruth prepared fresh cinnamon buns, fruit plates, a variety of egg dishes, a delicious apple cake and much more for breakfast. Installed in front the fire, we also enjoyed a rich and diverse "aperitif" platter with wine in the afternoon. We also appreciated the tea served in the afternoon, after our walk along some of the many trails surrounding the lodge. Bravo Ruth and Howard!

Dear Heather and Marc, Thanks so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to make you both comfortable before and after your MAPLE LEAF ADVENTURES tour up here in the Great Bear Rain Forest, and to learn about your own incredible CNHTOURS.COM in all sorts of other wonderful corners of the world. We look forward to seeing you both again and to possibly help CNH to showcase this lovely corner of BC to your clients. Best wishes. Howard and Ruth.

Very relaxing atmosphere in this character building. Loads of trails and wildlife to see just steps away. Came to disconnect and definitely accomplished with this remote B&B that provides attentive service and food albeit at a premium price.
