Good hotel but there an aisle with a discotheque at the ground floor. You can hear the music and feel the vibrations up to the highest floors. Avoid the place if you are travelling for business and need rest, but probably good if you come for entertainment. Do never trust the staff if they tell you that the discotheque is...

Good Hotel, but Poor communication by a Desk Staff without a name tag.Lovely ambience, nice Room, just sad that the hotel staff are not as courteous and this doesn't typify the Transcorp brand. Nostalgic to be in Calabar

The hotel is the best in Calabar - clean and hospitable, good food and fairly regular internet. The music at the poolside can be loud but manageable. Safe and secure. Small very basic gym. Good pool and overall location.

Wasn't a very bad hotel. Rooms are okay, the bar wasnt bad at all, reasonably priced, the restaurant had decent food and the lobby wasnt too noisy, although they have a kinda lounge that gets a bit noisy at night just at the lobby. The Lawn Tennis Court was great.

Once you are able to understand it's just a transcorp hotel and not the Hilton, it's easy to appreciate. Our room was okay had the layout of a premier inn. Our meetings held at the Jade room which could do with a face lift. Some extraction equipment could also be useful for dispelling the smell of food on the ground...

Thank you for your kind review and also for acknowledging some noticeably good highlights during your visit such as; smooth check-in, neat homely room and our buffet varieties. It clearly indicates that you are observant. We apologize for the hotness of the protein you ordered, also regarding the air-conditioner, with the assistance of the porter you can always have it...

Their facilities and services still top notch to my surprise. They had a small sewing kit, toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, there was a good selection of tea and coffee but no milk. The Transcorp Calabar must have once being a very good hotel. Now, it's sorta struggling to maintain a once glamorous status. It's simply falling short. That's not to say it's bad. It's a clean, serene and comfortable place. The room toilets are its best feature. The food was alright and the pool and its surroundings relaxing. There is working Wifi...
