It's obviously hard to keep up with the vision of this place. What a waste! Great infrastructure but lack of patronage makes the place look and feel like a ghost town. Hard to move from inertia to efficency overnight. First night at the reception desk was like Fawlty Towers! Need I say more? May be better during festive period.

The Hotel is aet in the Tinapa area with numerous attractions, so be it business or family pleasure you can be sure to have a great time.

Don't expect anything like a pleasant atmosphere. What you get is safety, clean bathroom with everything working, fast WiFi and a large room if you opt for the business room that has everything at western taste and standard, or what whey think is western taste. We stayed just for one night and liked it. The bartender is interesting to talk...

Visited the lakeside restaurant with three couples for an evening dinner and wasn't impressed. The menu had limited variety which was mainly local dishes. We did visit not too early so we had to make do with what was available.

I stayed here for 2-nights and though I was not thoroughly impressed by the facilities, this is still a good place to stay in calabar. The wifi was crap but the food was okay. i enjoyed their chicken pie quite a lot and they have friendly staff which is always a plus for me.

The hotel is well located in a resort. Excellent location for some peace and quiet. Very friendly staff. The Hotel offers a lot of promise but needs some extensive updating e.g carpets in the common areas, rooms etc. Internet was very erratic and quite frustrating for visitors like me who consistently need of a reliable connection for work purposes. I stayed for 3 days during my company's sales conference. Facilities are a joke, non existent wireless, food tastes horrible and poorly trained staff to add to the mix. The room was small with a loud AC unit you can't regulate, I had to switch it off at the wall socket. Hot water doesn't run always. Mobile reception within the...

Tinapa Lakeside Hotel, as the name suggests, is by Tinapa lake. If you are given one of the rooms with windows not overlooking the car park in front of the hotel, chances are your view is of the lake, from your room windows! The hotel is built to international standards but because it has not been as patronised and managed...

The hotel is showing clear marks of deterioration and neglect. The hotel was clearly once a great hotel with top facilities but I think that since the opening of the hotel may years ago very little has been done to maintain the clear and visible deterioration of this hotel. Staff is friendly and trying to be helpful but basics in...
