NATURE'S PARADISE at Marigot Bay A St. Lucia Eco-Lux vacation with a breathtaking Caribbean Sea view. Avocado Cottage and Banana Cottage are located on a quiet ridge high above the sea at Marigot Bay. The spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea creates the mood. Marigot Bay is what you have in mind when you think "Tropical Paradise". Our lush Tropical Gardens surround your private one-bedroom Cottage. Palms and Bougainvillea offer shade and color. You awake in the morning stunned by the breathtaking brilliance of the Caribbean - a turquoise like you have never imagined. PARADISE on a BUDGET Your Cottage is designed with romance and privacy as the keys to a great vacation. The French Provincial Four-Poster Queen-Size bed is draped with netting from Thailand. Constant trade winds make air conditioning unnecessary. Our large ceiling fans guarantee your comfort. The roofing is high and angled to allow plenty of light and airflow. The bathroom features a glass block shower and a built-in hairdryer. The sliding glass door opens onto a large balcony with those fabulous ocean views. Our Tropical Breakfast (Mon - Fri) begins at eight and lasts until you have finished dining on our fresh breads & muffins. Fresh fruit is always available. The seasons dictate which fruits are on the table. Dining is in the Villa. NATURE'S PARADISE Eco-Lux, Adventure, Relaxation, Romance.

We stayed in Avocado Cottage for a week. The view from the patio was worth the stay, but there was more. David and Wanda are excellent hosts, the rooms were well furnished, and the location close to everything we wanted to see. The property is out of the hustle and bustle, which I liked. St. Lucia is a beautiful island and David knows the history, making it more interesting. Downside: you will need a car, or be willing to hike up the hill from Marigot Bay.

Beautiful location,we spent 2wks here at Natures Paradise and were by ourselves for 10 days of our holiday, although we had the pool to our ourselves which was nice we felt a bit isolated especially at night time as the owners were away, the only people we spoke to for 9 days was the gardener(who was lovely)we stayed in banana cottage,we struggled without air con and felt really uncomfortable for the last few days if we are honest, fridge leaked and was hot to touch, our room could of been cleaner and you need to rent a car in our opinion as the road down to the mariner is steep and dark at night, hopefully constructive criticism.

David and Wanda were such gracious hosts at Nature's Paradise, They were always available when we needed them while insuring our privacy when we didn't. The entire property is beautiful with an amazing pool. The view from the pool deck looking over the Roseau valley is spectacular. David had someone pick us up at the airport and there was a vehicle waiting for us at the property as requested. You should definitely rent a jeep or equivalent even if you only stay within the Marigot Bay area as the trek up and down the hill would become tiresome. Plus there is an entire island to explore. We took advantage of breakfast with our hosts everyday it was offered. Fresh local fruit, coffee, cheese and fresh "Wanda" bread was more than enough to get us started. We took this time to get to know David and Wanda and ask advice on where to go and how to get there. They have led interesting lives and have some great stories. We also took David up on his Soufriere eco-tour and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The Banana cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We wouldn't hesitate to return to Nature's Paradise if ever in St. Lucia again. A quick side note: If you are looking for a half day boat trip, try to find Jean or Capt. Johnson of the boat Clara anchored near the Marigot docks. These guys provided us with a nice snorkeling excursion to Ti Kaye and are trustworthy and fair. Thanks again David and Wanda for a great vacation

I originally booked one cabin through Booking.com for $33/night and VRBO for $45/night for June 2019. I called the owner (David) to ask a question and he insisted the prices were incorrect on the websites. David convinced me to cancel both 3rd party reservations (through Booking, com and VRBO) and re-book through him for 175/night for both cabins. Booking.com said I should have kept the reservation through both 3rd parties because they would have reimbursed me if the owner tried to charge more. I ultimately had to cancel the trip the day we were to leave due to a medical condition I have. I soon realized my trip insurance does not cover a direct booking and will only cover the flights. It is a good idea to always book through a third party in order to get trip insurance reimbursement. I am sure we would have had a great time and the place is probably fabulous but I have a hard time believing David cannot get his prices correct on 3rd party websites. Always look out for yourself and book though a third party and do not do owners favors by booking through them because they may not do any for you if you have to cancel. Remember 3rd party bookings are contracts and if owners refute the prices you will not be responsible for their mistakes.
