We stayed several days here with our 9-month old son and could not have had a nicer time. Out the door of the B&B lies endless beautiful, traffic-free mountain roads for bicycling which I enjoyed every morning of our stay. The host is very knowledgeable about biking route nearby, including the famed "Via Silente" which passes very close. During our days we went to several family-friendly beaches (also recommended by the host), most only 15 minutes away from the B&B. Breakfast and dinner (served outside overlooking the sea) were wonderful, all made from ingredients either grown on the premises or from local farms. We can't wait to go back, hopefully when we can stay a week or more.
Was very happy with my stay here - came in October and it was very beautiful. The area around the hotel (Golfo di Policastro) is one of the most spectacular I have seen, and the views of mountains and sea were amazing from the terrace deck. The service was excellent, perhaps the best reason for going. The owners, Claudia and Amadeo, were very happy to help with all of my questions and provided excellent advice about the surrounding countryside. All meals were provided--all fresh food from the garden or their animals, and everything I ate was excellent. I was very satisfied with the quality of food, and furthermore enjoyed very much the company of Amadeo and Claudia at dinner. The rooms were perfectly clean--there isn't really any more to say on this subject. The bed / quality of sleep was also fine: nothing to report here, which is as it should be. I would not hesitate to recommend this location very strongly. I myself hope to return at some point when I have time.…
I went back last weekend with my husband and I must confirm the clean and tidy room but in particular the cake with pumpkin for Halloween! In this period they bake chocolate biscuits with sugar and chocolate from the fair trade, their tasty breakfast has nothing to do with supermarket items offered by the last-minute hotels or cheap false country houses! The owners were welcoming and professional too, so I am satisfied for having repeated my choice.
We chose it from the reviews and because of its position, not too close to the seaside and nearby the National Park. The B&B was clean and comfortable, amedeo's knowledge and passion for the area along with the delicious breakfast made it a superb trip for us. Price is very reasonable.
I was a guest a couple of weeks ago and I really enjoyed the village, Vibonati, with its churches and tiny streets, the seaside Villammare, the paths around the B&B and the B&B itself. You can taste special breakfast, visit the farmhouse and check that everything is genuine!Owners have got a strong passion for nature and their activities(their story is very interesting), they are very helpful in tutoring about the sites and if you need anything they are available to offer you whatever you want always smiling! Rooms are comfortable and fortunately without TV!! My opinion is positive and I reckon that it is very important to see their website to better understand their philosophy. Finally, the price is low if you make comparison to organic products you can find elsewhere.
It was an experience we shall never forget. I often go back in Salerno to see my relatives but here I discovered beautiful paths (medieval towns, caves, heavenly beaches)Owners took the best care of my and my grandmother, so it's perfect for all the ages. In particular you can see simple and fresh food (organic) and attention to detail into the room where everything has got a special history. Breakfast is almost a brunch and if you like you can visit the stable with cute animals which are respected and beloved!I hope that the Casale stays just as it is and ignores the people who want the false country houses, there are other places for them!
I came back last weekend (October) in this beautiful and peaceful place.......and I confirmed the hospitality of the proprietors and the excellence of the food (especially of the tarts and biscuits Claudia made!!!). It's the best place if you wish to relax and to learn more about nature and country life!!!
I went there with my girlfriend and it was an unforgettable experience! The owners are very nice and breakfast is rich in types of offer and quantities. They offer honey, jams, biscuits, fruit and in particular home-made bread baked in thier oven outside! We also appreciated furniture in the room, everything is the mirror of love for the environment. They also offered us a dinner, everything colorful and delicious from thier organic garden. Not to be missed!
The view from the terras was perfect. We were there for 3 nights. Room and furniture were to basic in comparison with the price. Breakfast was poor and selfmade bread was to dry and less tastfull. B&B owners were polite but you have to fit in the group of macrobiotic vegetarian people. We eat often this kind of good in Italy. The food here was poor and basic.
I stayed here for 3 nights on my own. The food was amazing, made from home produced or locally sourced organic ingredients cooked and prepared by hosts Claudia and Amadeo. The surrounding scenery was stunning, especially the view from the balcony where I had my meals was breathtaking looking out onto the Cilento National Park and the Tyrennian Sea, and the hosts were kind and hospitable. And great cooks! They graciously allowed me to camp my tent there for a few days and they showed me around the farm as I'm interested in Permaculture and organic food production and I had an amazing time. They have goats, chickens, a donkey, and grow lots of organic fruits and vegetables using permaculture methods and principles. A little piece of heaven in Vibonati. Would highly recommend a visit here to relax and enjoy all that this beautiful area offers.…
