The layout of this hotel makes it so calming and the service levels were the highest and friendliest we have experienced. We had a Sea View Suite and it was like a small apartment with a double balcony and excellent views of the bay.

I have been coming to Villa Del Golfo Hotel every May for the past four years. I travel extensively for business purposes and I frequent countless hotels. I am pleased to report that Villa del Golfo has become one of my favorite hotels for non-business travel. I come to Sardinia to relax and the Villa del Golfo property and staff...

The Hotel Del Golfo has NO security. While at the beach, the hotel car brought us, our room and safe was broken into. Cash and jewelry was stolen. We were treated hostilely by the owners and only a small portion of our loss was reimbursed by their insurance company. We paid our bill in full and left he hotel without a...

we stayed for 3 nights in September 2011, we had a villa suite with our own private pool. I have to say the service and rooms were of a high standard. really enjoyed my time here and it was so easy to get around to 'porto cervo' and 'costa smeralda' from the hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

As a seasoned traveler one has higher expectations but these were exceeded at the Villa del Golfo. Service, rooms, all simple impeccable. We had a room with private pool with incredible views of the bay. The town of Caanegione is 5 minutes away and offers anything from supermarkets to gelaterias to upscale food. We took a day trip on the...

We stayed 4 nights in August 2012. We loved the hotel. The room was not very big, but it was comfortable with a nice bed. Good bathroom and shower. We had a lovely view of the ocean. The swimming pool is a nice area, although we spent most of the time out in the beaches. Staff was extraordinary. Very friendly...

We stayed at the Relais Villa del Golfo for our honeymoon in August/September and it was fabulous. We booked a villa suite with a private pool and it was fabulous. the suite's pool was much bigger than expected and it was so private and quiet despite being close to the hotel and a short walk into town. The decoration and...

This is a very nice hotel (championship league not premier) in a superb position looking over the sea but spoilt by constant musak everywhere so that you can't relax on the sun loungers by the pool overlooking the sea - you just get ghastly canned music all the time. What a pity because in jusy about every other way it's...

Nicely laid out, comfortable campus-style accom in a good location within walking distance of town. (On which subject - do try the Zattera restaurant in Cannigione – a real cut above the average. Also the Hotel Porto 's restau punches well above its weight and is very reasonable. But AVOID La Brasserie, which is overpriced and lacks integrity - see...
