Whilst we were not staying at this hotel, we met there for an afternoon drink because the hotel we were staying at had a bar that was "closed". This facility was very good although they need to clean there beer lines more often as the real ale was a little "sharp" The meal we had was excellent. Good value, served...

We travel to Porthcawl frequently just to take in the sea air. We usually park the car near to the Atlantic Hotel and then walk down to the lighthouse and back, stopping for a pint or a glass of wine here, to enjoy the sea view.

We went to Porthcawl last Sunday after the promise of some decent sunny autumn weather before things start getting dark, wet and cold heading towards winter. The forecasters were right! It was a lovely day - warm and sunny just great for a beachside walk we did around five miles but took longer than we intended which made us a...

Have visited several times always though the Roasts were well above average, though for £10.95 they could be a little more generous with the meat and its never more than lukewarm when it arrives. Lovely location and good service though

Last night I enjoyed a fantastic Elvis-fun-filled evening at the Atlantic hotel, I was most certainly grooving the night away in my blue suede shoes! However, there was one person in particular I must thank: Chris the bar man. Not only was he very polite and friendly, but he even sorted out a taxi to get me and my friends...

When visiting the Porthcawl Seaside, I would wish for nothing more than to enjoy a nice meal and beverage whilst having the pleasure of a beautiful view accompanied by prompt service. My last stop here was exactly this, I have visited the Atlantic Hotel many times before and the quality always remains at a very high standard. Food is delivered...

Been here for Sunday lunch, my parents were going here every Sunday for the last 8 years, but have now decided after being ignored and having to wait an hour to give their order that they will not be going back, the food was always impressive but unfortunately the service not so much, this is not down to the waiting...

Our 5 day visit to this hotel to meet up with friends was most enjoyable. Our seaview room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is on the seafront with good walks etc, but no beach just very rocky, but there is a very safe beach a short walk away, also the town is within easy walking distance. Some of the facilities are...

We (husband and I) stayed last night in room 22, a spacious room on the 2nd floor with lovely views over the sea. The room was very clean (apart from the outside of the windows), plenty of storage and a good sized en-suite with a deep bath and over-head shower. The hot water was plentiful and really hot. The towels...
