Just stayed here for one night with my husband and we will be going back for sure. The owners are so friendly and chatty and made you feel at ease. Rooms are spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. Ladies, you don't need to take a hair dryer. Shower is so powerful and hot it was amazing. The cooked breakfast was...

We stayed in this lovely guest house whilst visiting family in the area. We arrived late on Saturday night which was no problem for Ann & Robert. A short walk from the car park and Robert was over to meet us and offer a helping hand. We woke on Sunday morning to Snow! It looked fantastic. The room was very...

Stayed at the end of October. Lovely room with view to the lake.. Check in was easy, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, I really enjoyed the cooked breakfast! several little restaurants and pubs about, for excellent cheap evening meals. Also when my husband needed a screwdriver the owners son went out of his...

We enjoyed a short break away over October half term. Really peaceful even though it was apparently fully booked. Didn't hear a peep from any other guests. The view from our room was stunning. Hosts were extremely knowledgeable and were able to advise where to go/ what to do. Food was brilliant. Will without a doubt be going back.

My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay at Glan Y Gro on the August bank holiday weekend. We stayed in the Ffynnon room, which was wonderful - comfy bed, beautiful view of the lake and a nice big shower. Our hosts were really friendly and knowledgeable about the area and made some recommendations for places to eat....

Fabulous stay in a great location and lovely hosts. Lack of TV not even noticed - scenery and peacefulness of the Glan Y Gro makes this place a perfect relaxing holiday. Nice selection of breakfast. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Glan Y Gro for 2 nights in August. The location of the B&B is amazing. Sat right on the lakeside, the views from the room are brilliant. It is only a two minute drive into Bala or to the Watersports centre and there are also plenty of great walks and bike rides in the vicinity. The room...

Although our first breakfast was not great, the following two were as I switched to a crepe instead of sausages and eggs. We did not have an ensuite as advertised but it was a private bathroom though the owner did state that he could and would come in if he needed to get to the electrics cupboard. Our room was...
