We had a delicious lunch with my parents and our family of 4 (two daughters aged 7 and 9). The kids loved the quirky decor - especially the loos, suit of armour and the animals behind glass. The restoration is really impressive. We would like to stay next time as the bedrooms look great. The food was delicious with dessert...

Need an upgrade, pool-area has seen better days... The meal in the evening was nice, but not impressive. Not sure we will come back... 😐. På mange måter et sjarmerende sted, men lover mer enn de holder...

This hotel was fine. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable but it is definitely in need of an update as it looks quite dated. Breakfast was OK but as we'd had an amazing breakfast the previous day at a cheaper hotel it was a bit disappointing. The pool was closed which was a shame although we didn't...

Out of the way…great hotel for those looking for something different than the run of the mill chains…..the restaurant is superb and the vignette looking in to the barnyard animals was the icing on the cake…..

Not an average hotel - quite strange in layout. However, it did not detract from my stay - I thought the food was excellent (a limited choice, but it was good) and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. The car park doesn't look at all secure - fortunately I was able to park my vintage car on their...

Belgian-American couple, highly pleased with room #18 - Aug 2014. Beautiful and ornate, very clean. Awesome jacuzzi tub, fluffy bathrobes, peaceful. Gorgeous well kept castle, everything immaculate. Pool lovely and refreshing. Will recommend to others! Monica & Mike

We booked in for one night, paying for B&B plus a gourmet meal. When we arrived we found that it was a barbecue night & no a la carte was available. One of our party had sent four emails to check our booking but having had no reply was told that his email address was incorrect. They were less than...

We stayed here in July 2012 for 3 nights. The views on the hills around are great, the fresh air is wonderful. Breakfast was poor. They just brought us 2 types of French buns, butter, jam, fresh orange juice and croissant, but in a very limited number, less than the number of persons around the table. Probably they wanted to...

At first I was confused, why the hotel's website shows a logo of "Small Luxury Hotels" but they can not be found on SLH website - because they were kicked out of it. And after my stay I know why. Pictures of hotel grounds looks very attractive. We like the idea of using old Farms and Palaces as a hotels...

We had two excellent past experiences at this hotel. This time, we decided to spend two nights. This experience, unfortunately, was only very good. The first thing I have to say, in case the hotel staff actually reads this, is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OTHER CHAIRS AT THE POOL! We used to LOVE the pool, lounging by...
